Salt & Pepper Cafe

I feel bad saying this but this cafe was very underwhelming! Our food wasn't very fresh or yummy. Eggs were dry and chicken and waffle bites were ok. The staff was nice though!

My husband and I went here last night for dinner and had a delicious meal. The food was fantastic and our server was very sweet and attentive. We will definitely be back soon.

This little restaurant is a diamond in the rough! It’s a breakfast lovers paradise with the best pancakes I’ve ever eaten! My BFF and I tried something new and we’re not disappointed. We drove from Cartersville! I don’t know how they made potatoes (home fries taste so good) and the steak and eggs were to die for! I must mention our server “Christie”…. We met her on her first day on the job! What a wonderful human being…all the goodness and kindness of customs service wrapped up in great 5 foot package! Don’t be fooled when you get there and see the simplicity of the interior!

Ate breakfast with a large group. There were 16 of us and we were in and out in a under an hour. The staff was amazing from the owner to the waitress. All the food came out hot and correct. The waitress had excellent recommendations and all of them tasted amazing. I can not say enough great things about Salt and pepper we will be back in the future.

Great breakfast and lunch foods. Service is always amazing. I give it four stars as it is a little pricy for what you get. Given where it is located the pricing is understandable.

Bundle up, you will be waiting outside.... And it's worth it.

Went for breakfast on a Saturday.

Mimosas we're on point. Strawberry; mango cranberry.

Very friendly staff.

Took the daily chicken and waffle special; bourbon pecan. And my friend went with a house omelet that came with a pancake. Whipped butter was a nice touch.

We both cleaned our plates. One of the best waffle I've ever had. Chicken always a thick chicken breast.
Friends omelet was light and balanced. Pancake had a nice crust to it.

Food, mimosas and hospitality is always great! My husband and I made this spot our Friday day date location, it's right around the corner from my house and I get the same hospitality each time I go!

This cafe has a friendly community feeling. When you walk in the door, you are greeted warmly and invited to sit anywhere. The staff is amazing. You can tell they enjoy being there and want you to enjoy it as well. There are delicious looking, unique menu items. Definitely worth the trip!

This establishment has become a new favorite of ours. The family that manages and cooks and runs this little cozy spot takes high pride in their staff and it shows. We've tried so many different meals here and not one has disappointed. We brought my mom here for lunch so, I'm turn brought my dad the same day for dinner and then they went again the following day! Most wonderful place for you and your family and I recommend bringing out of town guests here too!

We drive by often through the place and we decided to stop by. Man oh man! Great place for breakfast (that's what we had) and looking forward to try other dishes. We love local joints like this, specially when the owners are the one catering to the people. Love it! If you're in the area, and never visited this place, give it a try.

Just moved in down the street and had to try this place. I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it is for the price! I had the Ultimate Skillet (I believe it was called) and it was delicious. Service was good as well. Had to knock down a star for the lack of masks... yikes. Not even the cook was wearing one. Recommendation for the restaurant: There is one thing missing from your skillet- it's your sausage gravy! I got some on the side and added it in myself- *chefs kiss.*

My husband and I come here for breakfast and lunch dates. We love it. The food is consistently delicious and the staff are so friendly and attentive.

This place was a good breakfast place.. didn't like the eggs but the pancakes and french toast was delicious.. I will come back.

Great mimosas with a nice variety of flavors. We were a group of 6. Everyone food came out good. We had a burger, 2 orders of shrimp and grits, a order of bourbon chicken and waffles and a Southwest skillet. I didn't care for the skillet but the biscuit it came with was really good.

This small cafe did not disappoint once we got to our table.

Myself and five others arrived at noon and were told we would have approximately 45 minutes of a wait. It ended up being a little over an hour but at 45 minutes you are truly committed to the wait.

Once we were seated, our lovely and friendly waitress came to the table to introduce herself and provide us with menus.

Who knew Cedarcrest has such a business? A local café? That's fabulous! My friend and I meet here recently for an early lunch, yet we decided to order breakfast. Our waiter was so sweet and attentive, an excellent server. My friend ordered a banana pancake, oatmeal, and fruit, and I believe she out ordered me! I enjoyed the basic egg, sausage, grits, biscuit breakfast with one plain (delectable) pancake on the side. We also toasted each other with mimosas, which comes in a variety of flavors. I got a blueberry mimosa, and she ordered a mango one. They were both fabulous-- just too small

First visit and the service and food was delicious. Gotta try the waffle bites and the bourbon and pecan waffle. The cranberry and mango mimosa was good also.

Decided to give Salt & Pepper Cafe a try this morning, and I was not disappointed. The place was clean and organized with a very attentive/friendly waiting staff. The coffee came quick and tasted great. The food followed close behind and was wonderful. I was fully satisfied with the entire experience from atmosphere, to people, to the food! We will be returning and I suggest that you do the same!

Best staff ever!! I did takeout during Covid & they got a large order all correct. Not to mention 5 friendly faces all greeting everyone happily when you walk through the door, definitely will return for eating in soon. My hubby's meal was so good- country fried steak with gravy (so tender), green beans, etc. My salad was okay & the kids did not complain with their meals. It's great to see good service these days!

The Omelets and others breakfast items were spectacular a real good mouth feel I loved every moment of it from the first mouth feel to the lingering finish of the assorted flavors in my gullet. Very clean bathroom as well

Soo i woke up one morning with and intense craving for brunch and I had never had Salt & Pepper so I had to check it out. I was feeling ravenous so I ended up ordering 2 meals for myself. I ordered the Banana nut pancake and the super signature chicken biscuit and WOW!

The Banana nut pancakes were so good! 3 big sized pancakes with the hint of banana that was absolutely amazing. The Super chicken biscuit was just that! Super. The sweet of the pancakes complimented with the slight spiciness of the chicken biscuit was beautiful.

Ventured out. Always fun to find a locally owned place. This one had good reviews. We had stopped at another place, but they picked this week to closed for 2 days. The place was inviting enough. Upon entering, you just pick your own table to seat at. Our server, Anaija, was super friendly. Brought our drinks promptly. Wife ordered the sausage and bacon omelet with fruit. My son and I enjoyed brunch at your establishment yesterday. We were able to comfortably chat in the shade on one of the many benches you provided while we waited for a table. It was the perfect day to sit outside at an umbrella table and soak up the perfect breeze, social distancing at it’s best. Your staff was super friendly and the food was amazing.
