Dr. Allison Chu, O.D Report

Dr. Chu grew up in Central California and moved to Northern California for school. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Health at UC Berkeley and stayed for another four years for Berkeley's School of Optometry. She fell in love with the Bay Area and decided to stay for its amazing weather, delicious food, and abundant nature.

Despite being in midst of moving or remodeling the visit went well. Very nice doctor and staff. Not easy to have an eye check up masks on but they managed it well. Tech found some nice frames that were affordable with VSP insurance!

First time having to go to an eye doctor (I’m sure that’s not what you call it) but it was last minute. They made it happen where I could come in same day. Everyone was very polite. Everything went smooth and I was in and out.

Did not receive a follow up about his glasses. Called and was told someone would contact me did not receive a call after waiting a week I called them back still cannot get the correct information needed too get the glasses. Will have to go somewhere else to get the glasses. The optometrist was great per patient.

I love this place! From the moment I walked in I was warmly greeted by the receptionist. The doctors and staff are very friendly and caring. I've been especially happy and impressed with the selection of glasses that they carry, giving me many options to choose from! I'll definitely be seeing them every year!
