Okay, so I’ve had mediocre vision since I was 11. I’m 56. That’s a slew of eye appointments, people. The point is, I’ve got experience with lots of ODs and ophthalmologists and would easily rank my experience today at or near the top of the list.
The team is great. The optometrist, Dr. Sheppard, even better. When was the last time you had an optometrist explain that the B is one of the best letters to use to evaluate the eye chart as she dials in various prescriptions?

My 7-year old son had his first eye exam of his young life today. He was a bit nervous and didn’t know what would happen. I assured him that there were “no shots” and the doctors will help him learn more about his eyes. We were warmly welcomed with by the staff and the Doctor was super friendly. My son immediately relaxed and enjoyed his exam. I highly recommend AOG!

I am so glad I found Alameda Optometric Group! I called yesterday to see if they were accepting new patients - they were! However, they had no availability until February 2022! I made the appointment anyway because Tammy stated that I could also be added to the waitlist in case there was a cancellation. This morning, I got a call from them asking if I could come in today because they had a cancellation - yes!
