Founded in 2010, CrossFit Kryptonite is a functional fitness gym located in Center Moriches, NY. We offer CrossFit classes led by experienced trainers, as well as private personal training sessions for beginners and advanced athletes alike. Our coaches are here to support, guide, and encourage you on your health journeys.
In addition to certified personal trainers and CrossFit-certified coaches, our team includes certified weightlifting, gymnastics, and nutrition experts. Services
CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. All CrossFit workouts are based on functional movements, and these movements reflect the best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing and more. These are the core movements of life. They move the largest loads the longest distances, so they are ideal for maximizing the amount of work done in the shortest time.
Your first step on the road to improved fitness is a free one hour introductory session with one of our coaches, Our goal during this session is to answer any questions you may have about whether our program is right for you. Your coach will take you through a mobility warm up and introduce the skills you'll need during your workout.
We have a nutrition advisor on staff for any extra help you might need. Our nutrition coaching will get you on track to achieve your fitness goals and also make a difference in how you look, feel, and perform. Protein should be lean and varied and account for about 30 percent of your total caloric load.

I started at Crossfit Kryptonite around the middle of July. At first I would go 1-2 times a week and after about a month and a half realized I needed to be doing more. I met with one of the trainers who provided nutrition and fitness advice. Starting in the first week of October I began a clean eating journey and started going to the gym 3-4 times a week. I followed the advice of Mariana and her group of trainers and less than two months later I feel better than ever and am down about 15 pounds. The gym has great equipment, trainers and classes and has been very welcoming. It is more like a family

This gym is my second home. The members are an amazing group of people to work out with. My quality of life has improved dramatically in exercise, nutrition and self care because of the discussions and instruction with the coaches. I'm 40 years old and I've never been more fit in my life. I highly recommend this gym to join or drop into.

Love this gym. My second home. Some of the best people I have met in my entire life. But, I digress. The workouts are amazing. They are interesting and effective. I feel really good afterwards. I am ready to tackle the day. I am a better person overall and have become stronger both mentally and physically.

I saw CrossFit Kryptonite advertise a 6 week challenge on FaceBook in mid Jan. of 2016 and figured I'd give it a try, I had been interested in CrossFit for a while and figured I'd take the plunge. I have since completed the Challenge and joined, but it doesn't feel like I joined a gym, it's like a family. The staff is great, and very helpful. The members are pleasant and friendly as well. I FaceBook friended a bunch of the people I did the challenge with so we can try to go to classes together. This is really a wonderful, no stress or pressure, no knucklehead CrossFit gym.

I have had many a coach (tennis, track, volleyball) but Scott and Mariana are hands down the BEST! They know their stuff inside and out and they know exactly when and how far to push. My biggest fear with CrossFit was that I might get injured but under the watchful eye of the Krymptonite staff I feel confident that when my form is poor that it will get corrected immediately. Biggest, cleanest and best equipped box on the Island with a great group of drama free members. The gains that I have made athletically over the past seven months are incredible. If you are looking for a way to workout for the rest of your life look no further! I was sick and tired of working out at those conventional gyms with a bunch of roid heads grunting as they extend their triceps! Crossfit is a completely new, different, and superior animal. As for the gym itself, the trainers/owners are passionate about fitness and they teach very well. They advocate form and technique over aggression and intensity. But trust me, you learn the form very quickly with such great trainers and after that... it gets VERY INTENSE!!! It may at first seem intimidating but everyone is very
