The Driftwood Motel is a family owned business conveniently located on Coastal Highway One in Lewes, Delaware, mid-way between Historic Lewes, Lewes Beach and Rehoboth Beach. A half-mile walk or bike ride to the Tanger Outlets. Spend the day in downtown Lewes, visit the Canal and the Zwaanendael Museum, bike and fish at Cape Henlopen State Park or take a ride on the Cape May Lewes Ferry.
The Driftwood Motel offers daily, weekly and seasonal reasonably price accommodations. We have nine One-bedroom efficiency apartments, each with fully equipped kitchens with a full size refrigerator, range, coffeemaker, microwave and toaster. Living room has a Queen sleeper sofa. Separate Queen bedroom and bath allows up to four people to sleep comfortably.

My family and I decided to stay here while we were deciding on staying in the area or relocating to Florida, and it was conveniently located near my husband’s place of employment. At first, Lou and Lenora were very welcoming and we thought we found a hidden gem. Soon after, we saw a completely different side of them. The “apartment” was less than perfect. The floors were filthy, We took pictures just to COA. I purchased my own vacuum cleaner and carpet shampooer just so my daughter could walk around without getting black feet. We never complained because the owners are only there on weekends

We came this past weekend to go to Rehoboth with the kids. They took our reservation last minute. The man in the office was so nice he gave my husband a map of the city and pointed out the best places to visit. There was a full size kitchen. Stove, oven, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, full refrigerator, and double sinks with garbage disposal. Living room had a pull out bed couch for the kids and a TV and dining table in the same room. Bedroom had a full size bed with a full closet and bathroom, dresser with mirror vanity, TV and AC unit.

Really enjoyed my stay at Driftwood!! We were there for a baseball tournament from 7/26/18-7/29/18. Everyone was so nice, helpful ( I was looking for a laundromat to get the uniform washed, so I asked the front desk and the owner told me that they will wash my sons uniform and THEY DID) and friendly.
The apartment was very clean and just enough space for my family and I. Full size kitchen with everything you should need. Great location -10 min to the beach.
It was just wonderful and I will be back.

Excellent experience. Owner and staff were awesome to work with. My email questions were answered quickly. I was able to check in early and it only took a few minutes. The room was clean, the refrigerator is full size and was spotless. Kitchen was stocked with all necessities. The linens were very clean and the place looked great. Great value for the money. Thank you!

Really likes this place. Don't be put off by the word motel, here it's a good thing, it just means that it's not a giant apartment complex. The rooms are easily accessible, and parking is convenient. Location is fine, close enough to the beach, a short car ride. It makes up for it by being cheaper. Room is comfortable and modern. Bed was great. Good living room. Comfortable kitchen and amenities. Would stay here again.
