The room served its purpose and it was quiet to sleep at night which was great, ..BUT... ....Many functional and cosmetic appearances lacked pride and maintenance. The bathroom sink stopper and pull were completely missing. Anything could have easily fell down the sink and been lost forever such as jewelry. Why would you not fix this??? Underneath the sink was rotting particle board with water damage and a GIGANTIC HOLE exposing pipes and the foundation to the room BELOW! Why would you not fix this??? There were a number of scuff marks and paint chipping on walls. Why would you not fix this?? It

The motel is not the best but its exactly what to expect with a motel. However the place is at a close walking distance from the beach and boardwalk. The guy in the fron desk who is 1 of the owners is extremely polite and nice guy which is a huge plus. Rooms were comfortable the beds are clean and so is the bathroom there outdated but pretty clean. Rooms also have a flat screen t.v and microwave.

Exactly what I was looking for. Nothing fancy at all but a great place to spend the night while at the beach. In a safe and quiet area, and a short walking distance to the beach and shops. No breakfast or pool, but there is a microwave and a refrigerator in the room. Seems to be family-owned. Definitely would stay again!

What makes this place special is people who run it. I had never stayed in a motel before and didn’t know what to expect. Room has everything you need, tv, refrigerator microwave. Furniture and everything is old yet clean. But who cares if its old, we were there to spend night after beach that’s about it. Now about the people who run the motel. I dealt with three different people and always found them to be kind courteous and extremely accommodating . If they could help you with something they will and that’s what makes this place special. It seems like family run business and unlike big chains

This is the kind of place you go to for a cheap rate and a one night stay. The bathrooms were clean and the room itself was clean, but the whole place smelled musty. The carpets probably need to be changed and the bedspread was very worn out. I had to go out and buy some air freshener but that didn't do much to take away the smell. I couldn't sleep because the moldy scent was so strong when I was laying down. The managers were nice enough and pretty hospitable but not sure if I'd ever go back

This is a very nice small motel with out all the bells and whistles. I checked in and Stephanie was great. The room was ready early and I was able to check-in in the middle of August. The room was clean, good bed, nice t.v., refrigerator and got plenty of hot water for the shower. I would come here again because it not an expensive place. Thank you, Russell

High Seas is my go-to spot, especially during high season at the beach for a courteous, simple, quiet and clean place to sleep. Truly I have never seen this place dirty. At the beach, what more does one need other than that?! If you are looking to be taken care of with all the bells and whistles, this is not the place. You can pay triple or more elsewhere. Easy walk to the beach, just a block from Rehoboth Ave, just 3 blocks from the beach and even free parking. The beds may be a bit firm, though they are newer, so I simply bring a feather bed and throw on top and you would think you were at

I had all intentions of giving this place a solid 3 stars. It was definitely spartan, but come on people, it's a motel. It was super clean and even had a refrigerator and microwave, which most nice hotels don't have and is super convenient. It was a bit musty when we first got there, but after spraying some Febreeze and turning on the a/c, it went away. And the guy who checked us in was very sweet. And perfectly convenient location for walking everywhere all weekend.
I am knocking it down a star though because when we checked out, I asked if I could leave my car parked there for another

I couldn't wait to get home and take a shower as this place is dirty and I felt soo dirty for staying there. No star is actually deserved. I wouldn't even stay there if you paid me!! and I am soo mad that I put out $120 into the slumlords pocket ! Obviously he is about taking advantage of people, as there is no indication that he cares. I think the township should get a bull dozer and knock that place out. Its a real shame, as staying there totally wrecked my weekend !
