If I could rate this “business” zero stars I would.
I would just like to share my disappointing experience of working for Dan Serra.
He came to Burlington, IA over a year ago with big plans for a new bread plant in downtown Burlington.
Once he was ready for samples, he began hiring staff (a very good staff, at that) and very shortly after brought in some “help” from the east coast.
On HIS team of people, it was decided it would be a good idea to bring a puppy into the plant. Where that puppy proceeded to run around through the offices, urinate on product, and chew on people’s shoes

We work at the Iowa plant. We have yet to see disgruntled former employees who are terminated because they are unable to perform their duties from having a single positive thing to say. There’s always 2 sides to every story.

They hold my truck for 2 days because they was not having enough man power to unload the freight they order. I spoke with Dan the boss of this company and he is not helpful at all. I will never come back at this place!
And yes i was being told by TQL that this place is FCFS not by appt.

The owner Dan is a thief and liar. All around just a bad person. Thankfully we were able to walk out on him and take his business from him in NY!!!

I'm a truck driver and have been with this company for almost 2 years and I must say it's best driving job I ever had. If you are a experienced driver that loves to run with a paper log book this is the job for you. The owners are a couple of great guys that actually care about the drivers and understand the importance of family and needing time off. I leave on a Sunday and I'm back on Thursday every single week since I have been here. I average 2700 plus miles a week at 50 cents a mile. The best thing about this company is you are always moving very little down time waiting for loads or with break
