I'm so happy a friend suggested we meet for brunch here! '401 has different choices, great drinks and impeccable service.
To start we ordered the Fire Roasted Brussels Sprouts. Soo good! A bit crispy on the outside and absolutely delicious. I became a fan of Brussels sprouts after eating them. I ordered a frozen strawberry margarita and she ordered a Kettle '401 Mule which she really liked.
The food was even better than I expected. My friend ordered the OG Burger which she said was made perfectly! I was in the mood for breakfast and ordered the Tex Mex Omelet. So good and they

I love this restaurant and have eaten here many times. However, today was the first day that I ate here since being gluten-free. Our waitress was phenomenal! I asked her a lot of questions and even though she had to ask the kitchen my questions she was happy to do so. She happily substituted items for other items too! Thank you 401! Can't wait to come back!

Went with some ladies for brunch, and no one was impressed with the food. Waffle was gummy, eggs were unappealing, and the croissant sandwich was a soggy mess. The appetizers were great - we had the crab cakes and the baked goat cheese!!!! Definitely would stick to apps if we ever go back.
Service was good and they do take reservations, which is a plus for lunch.

The 401 is a a fine establishment. It's clean and often not too packed. It offers patio seating. The bar has a tv for your sports viewing pleasure. I'm impressed with the menu- good variety without doing too much. And a good amount of vegan/veg dishes. I got the vegan bowl at my most recent visit (minus the vegan cheese...vegan cheese skeeves me) and it was very good. I also got a grapefruit mimosa and the grapefruit was fresh squeezed- a nice touch. Prices are reasonable. I brought kiddos with me and didn't feel like we couldn't enjoy and express ourselves freely

with fried chicken, avocado, chipotle chili sauce and provolone. It's so large it more like two sandwiches. I ended up eating only half and took the rest to go. I was still too full that we asked for the Chocolate Mousse Cake to go and took only two bites still at the end of the meal. You have to try that cake or their Carrot Cake. Soooooo yummy. Service was great again.

Stopped in a few days ago because I was in the area. This place is a gem. The service was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the Greek salad with blackened salmon and a wood fired pizza. Both were amazing. The pizza was light but tasted homemade. You could tell it had been cooked correctly. This won't be my last visit. Great place.

I came when this place first opened, there was alot of hustle but confusion so i decided to repay the visit after the newness wore off, i even decided off lunch timing....by the pics the food was appetizing but the only disappointing thing was the food was off temp...the fries were room temp to cold and the burger was warm to say the least. I will give it a shot again since the item my guest had looked and tasted great, but the fries were still cold.

Came in about a month ago and the place is nice, clean and gives off a good vibe. The only thing is, it wasn't very busy so the vibe didn't match the patrons but it could also be because we got there before the dinner rush??? Idk it is bellaire so I think it's just more of a laid back crowd. The have a mid size inside dining and a small patio for outside eating. I'd say 20-30 guests on patio maybe.

I was promptly seated despite showing up 15 mins prior to our reservation for a delayed Galantine's dinner. And wowza was the waiter attentive! I'm pretty sure he visited me at least 3x asking if I wanted to order an additional drink beyond water while I was waiting for my girlfriends to show up. He even visited us an additional 2x after the first one showed up! (While I appreciate the responsiveness verses the alternative, it was a bit stressful).

However, I've had the vegan bowl from this restaurant with chicken to go and it was delicious.
You can tell the restaurant uses fresh ingredients cause I literally tasted the love on the first bite. The bowl is loaded with roasted Brussels sprouts, rice, black beans, lentils, guacamole, roasted butternut squash, etc. the portion size is large. The plate is packed with flavor that is out of this world. I added grilled chicken however you can go meatless or even add salmon.

My family and I settled on this Bellaire eatery for dinner after reading the rave reviews and noting their large open-air, dog-friendly patio. The place is a hodgepodge of industrial, modern, and bar-like decor, but has a strikingly neighborhood restaurant feel with co-workers, families, and couples dining side-by-side. The outdoor space is really nice, partially covered and with high barriers to spare you the classic Houston parking lot view. The service was great and we felt safe eating here in the COVID era (masked staff, spread out tables, hand sanitizer at entrance).

Came here with some friends and my wife and the service was even better than the food. Our friends shared a meatloaf entree which they raved about....my wife will get this on our next visit. We shared the combo kabob plate. the chicken was very tasty and tender, the beef was average and slightly chewy. both entrees were halved and and everyone got their own plate....like i said even better service. Our kabobs came with good rice, pita bread and amazing grilled veggies which included brussel sprouts...don't see that very often. Our friends/familyand us both got the roasted cauliflower appetizer

I'm truly excited to have discovered this place which really was a random decision from a google search for brunch places. Following an amazing first experience, my future visits will definitely be intentional. On arrival, we were greeted with a smile and seated in the outdoor patio which was our preference since the weather was clement. The patio turned out to be refreshingly cool and breezy. Our server was courteous, and made us feel welcomed. I ordered the gyros plate which was deliciously flavorful. The well seasoned fries and warm pita were excellent sides to the meal.
