We have three wonderful rooms for private lunches, brunches, and dinners, as well as gatherings for family and friends. Menus offerings range from super appetizers for cocktail receptions to light or full meals designed and prepared by Frank's talented culinary teams and Chef. Food and drinks were solid!! Fried chicken was great. Valets were super friendly and helpful! Hostess was very cordial and nice. Waitress seemed like she wanted her shift to end. (It's a busy season, i get it. )

I love Franks. It is a 70's style restaurant that I am hooked on. Food is excellent, service is very good and the atmosphere is like a step back in time for me. The fried green tomatoes and deviled eggs are great, well all of their food is very good 👍

Wonderful NYE dinner! The service was impeccable! Thank you Juan. You were awesome! The food was FABULOUS! I want to go back already!!! I had a fantastic cocktail; Six Toed Cat, and one of the best steaks I have ever had! Crab cake for an appetizer; selected by my husband! Not one bite of his shrimp and grits left in his bowl!

The service was alright, a bit slow. but the waitress was nice. the food itself was so incredibly BLAND. no one at our table enjoyed their plate. they were just too nice so they didn’t send it back. everything is under seasoned and some meat wasn’t cooked properly. how are you going to serve soul food without soul?? the drinks were better. the “complementary” valet was picky on who they wanted to service. i would not recommend this restaurant if you use more than 3 seasonings in your own food.

The food was great and they accommodated my large party of 10 without a problem. The deviled eggs are a must try. We tried the chicken fried steak and buttermilk fried chicken and both were delicious and the portion size is large. More than enough for leftovers. Also if you try a dessert try the carrot cake that was some of the best I've had a restaurant.

You just can't go wrong here! Had a wonderful dinner last night which included pistachio crusted salmon, chicken fried steak, shrimp and grits, and grilled rib eye. We all sampled each other's plates and I honestly don't know which dish was my favorite as they were all cooked to perfection. We started with the onion rings, a wedge and Caesar salad which were both excellent.
I also just love the ambience there, the bar is cozy and inviting and the restaurant is just the right size to make you feel at home but with an elegant touch. The service is always great as well. If I could I

Had acorn squash soup so thick uneatable had the daily special of king ranch casserole not sure what it was also horrible can you say Zantac all night will never go back !!!!

Uh oh. Yes once it was one of my favorite mid day haunts for consistently good service, great personable bartenders, good management, good wine selection and decent pricing . Sadly no longer the case . Went back last weekend for an early Saturday dinner. Sat at the bar as usual and asked for my regular glass of Riesling. "Sorry" said the new and not-so-personable bartender. "We no longer offer a Riesling"
Damn! Okay well I'll look at the wine list . Just let me see the bar menu.

My name is Dina Crump this restaurant had the worst service the waitress waste water all over my purse sitting in the chair I gave cash to the waiter he wrapped my money up in his pocket I asked him for a… receipt 3 times another waiter came in and I told him I asked him three time I not ask them anymore I want my receipt I mean is horrible the food was shrimp was fried too hard I don't know what they did with the seafood the seafood was terrible. When I have a client for lunch we set at the bar where the service is great.
Fried chicken is some of the best in town along with the gumbo.

I was invited to a birthday celebration. I arrived a bit late, but the service I received was horrible. I ordered the Pork Chop dinner, devil eggs and a drink. I only received the Pork Chop dinner which was horrible. I asked to not be charged gratuity because I didn't receive my requested ordered and I was still charged. I wasn’t going to make a big deal about $16, but because the manage wrote a very disrespectful email stating that the party I attended didn’t spend at least $300 at the dinner made it worst. So I’m requesting my gratuity back. Even with a date night I would NEVER return.

A friend has raved about Frank's as one of her all time favorite places to eat great food for the soul. I now understand why. The service was terrific. Prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and not over bearing. The raspberry Moscow mule mocktail was perfection. Deliciously muddled with fresh raspberries that iced in the cocktail exactly how I like it. Oddly this is something most bar tenders can't get right. The crab cakes were divine. Packed with mouth watering large jumbo lump crab meat and tasty flavors to accompany it. A great experience. I look forward to my next visit to Frank's!

Franks is one of my very favorite places to eat really good food, great ambiance good service and really good cocktails.
Last night we had onion rings always good I had a fried oyster salad it was delicious my friend split chicken fried steak not so hot and that was and is always really popular dish there. It was served With mashed potatoes and some kind of baked root vegetables Doesn't go with chicken fried steak whatever they were now to the desert we ordered cream Brulé we're all though the creamy part was delicious They did not make the sugar crust like they should have you know

3 words "worlds fanciest diner"

Franks is pretty upscale in their service , atmosphere and taste. We walked in with out a reservation but had no problem being seated. We came in around 7pm but keep in mind they close at 9pm.

I ordered the crab and shrimp soup to start and it tasted great! We also got the cob salad and the ranch dressing was BOMB!

For our entrees I got the burger but substituted the fries for onion rings. I wish I never made the switch. My partner got the chicken steak paired with mash potato's + veggies, they were so flavorful.

Decided to try out Frank's for Mother's Day Brunch this year, we had not been there before but due to my procrastination on making a reservation we needed to go off the beaten path a little bit. The restaurant area was very nice, booth was comfortable, and the wait staff was friendly. Frank's is primarily a dinner spot but they were running a set menu in addition to their normal menu for Mother's Day. The entire family elected to go with the crab cake Benedict's which turned out to be delicious, there was a ton of crab meat in the cakes and the egg on top was nicely poached

From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, the team at Frank's Americana Revival was so warm!

Chris and Mike, the owners, are amazing and truly set the tone to this restaurant.

The atmosphere and set up was beautiful, quiet and quaint. We were able to use the two back rooms to create a beautiful set up for a surprise engagement and the team at the restaurant went above and beyond to accommodate!

The food presentation was beautiful and the flavors were mouth watering. The Pistachio Crusted Salmon was a dream, I loved the combination with the pesto, potatoes and beets. I will definitely

When I think of home, I think of Frank's Americana Revival. Not only does their food speak to your soul, but the owners and employees make you feel right at home. After being in Chicago for the last 5 years, it felt good to enjoy a farm to table, cooked from the heart meal, back home in Houston. If you want amazing food and outstanding service, that will make you want to bring your friends, family and colleagues to, Frank's is your spot. They do mouthwatering lunches and exquisite dinners! Update: I haven't been in awhile. I went in December 2020 and the place is the same with the same quality and service. My only update is that that the bartender was not consistent with wearing his face covering over his nose and mouth. At times he was talking to customers, including us, without any covering at all.

We attended Dan Pastorini's - Be an Angel Dinner in one of the wine rooms. It was a special 7-course dinner, that consisted of such excellent food that it's hard to describe. The portions were perfect, and the staff were polite, attentive, and very kind. This was one of the best evenings we've had in a while. This was our first visit, and we will definitely be back.

It was via UberEats - super happy! Ordered- 1. fried chicken -omg, perfection, juicy, crispy (even delivered), and great seasoning. The chicken breast was soooo good! 2. Deviled eggs- exactly as good as I'd hope they would be 3. Chicken fried steak-very yummy (Hughie's is my fav) but very satisfying & delish! The packaging was ideal & maintained the integrity of the food. I highly recommend & appreciate the care the restaurant took to deliver quality food "to-go".

We liked it all! Me and my friend ordered from this place during Houston Restaurant Weeks and we really, really enjoyed their food. We both ordered Gumbo for appetizer, and it is not the best Gumbo in town, but it is still good. My main was the Chicken Parmesan Roulade and this was a definite winner. I rarely order Chicken to be honest but I am glad I ordered this one, it was rich and delicious. My friend's tuna was just as good, she was very pleased (and I tried it too). For desserts I got the Chocolate Tres Leches and she got the Sorbet. The Chocolate Tres Leches did not feel like a Tres

Came to Frank's for HRW dinner. From the beginning to the end the service was pleasant and the food was good. I wanted to have the gumbo but like all gumbos it had bacon in it and therefore I had to pass on that. This is what I ordered: tomato and watermelon salad, 8 oz grilled filet, and the chocolate tres leches.

All the food came out at a steady pace and at no point did I feel rushed. The tomato and watermelon salad had pickled onions in it which really provided a nice acidic balance between the two different levels of sweetness from the tomatoes and the watermelon. I believe that there

Try the Petite New Zealand Rack of Lamb. This gorgeous dish is pan-roasted rib chops served with white beans provencal and dressed with mint & sage pesto. The beauty of this dish is how everything comes together, especially how all the flavors compliment each other. The truth is, these lamb chops have such a delicate and mild flavor, that it doesn't really need much. It's almost like the fillet mignon, where you want to taste the meat. I highly recommend you come to try it!

Good food, average service. We came for lunch on a Thursday, at noon. We arrived and were seated right away. Our server wasn't much help, barely checked on us and quite slow.

The smoked Gouda mac & cheese was great. The chicken fried steak was huge and crisp. The ambience was obviously for a certain set of clientele. At least food was good, but not our type of environment.

I was really craving chicken fried steak and the Houston Press recommended Frank's Americana Revival. I had never heard of the place but I thought it would be worth the shot. The restaurant is nice and small. It has a lot of shiplap on the walls, really reminded me of some other restaurants that are warm and cozy. What I thought was really cool was the drinkware, they were made from recycled wine bottles! Very nice, elegant touch.

My heart was set on the chicken fried steak. I also had the opportunity to taste the seafood gumbo which was exquisite. Most definitely a 5/5. Along with my entree

First visit, loved it. My husband treated me to a birthday dinner. They have a wide variety of dishes but we ordered a couple of comfort classics. The buttermilk fried chicken was the best. I also shared the crispy oyster salad which is one of the best I've had. The cranberry bread pudding was unbelievable, scrumptious. My husband had the chicken pot pie. I highly recommend, come hungry.
