Brought in a 2015 Kia as it was running very poorly with an intermittent check engine light and what felt like the transmission slipping. They said it was just the catalytic converter and did great in finding the best value converter available instead of a high priced Kia unit. Did not try selling me on any unnecessary transmission or other repair. All this during the difficult holiday season. Highly recommended.

We brought our 2002 Mustang in for clutch repair. They notified us of other things they found with the car that needed immediate attention and cleared everything through us first before proceeding. After all was said and done, the car drove like new again. You couldn't beat the costs of parts and labor there. The service was phenomenal where we felt like we were treated like family. The shops sucks big time. They did a horrible job on my steering column a few years back. Terrible customer service. They were suppose to rebuild my steering column still having issues with column an i know why. Those losers put a 1984 cutlass column in my 87 regal t type from the junk yard. The column has junk yard markings!! I wish i can get my money back!! DO NOT USE!! I have photo proof!!

We spent a little over $4,000.00 dollars (I have receipts) to get transmission repaired went out again within 3 and a half months ( the job was never done correctly) we took it back warranty was supposed to cover them fixing job they did wrong to begin with, for them to repair again they charged me $700 on top of the $2,300 and something I had already paid CASH these people are the worst our car we got it back yesterday & still making the same thing we took it in for to begin with this time we are letting the look into it for us we do not trust this shop and highly advise you to look elsewhere

They did a great job rebuilding my 94 Silverado transmission as well as working on my spongy brakes. They stayed true to their intial quote. Very professional and worked with me along the way. Only issue was some dirt and grime on the floor mats.

I had my jeep towed there because I thought it was broke. About an hour later the front desk called me and said "good news it's not broken just a line popped off". I said OK cool how much for the diagnostic or to put the line back on? They said "no charge"! This kind of honesty and service is hard to find from mechanics in Southern California. I later had my rear main seal fixed by them. Long story short, excellent fix, amazing prices, and outstanding customer service. I was quite impressed and will surely use them again.

Took me awhile to find a shop that would tackle a loud noise upon acceleration in my 2002 Subaru Outback. Miramar was recommended by Mike (owner) at Wolf Motors. The diagnosis was meticulous and, from what I can tell, accurate. The repairs needed were pricey (approximately 3k) but the car has only 65,000 original miles and so was worth the investment. Communication could have been a bit better, but that's a minor issue compared to the quality of the repair. Transmission is now quiet, the car drives "tighter," and the gas mileage has even improved. Would not hesitate to return to

I have absolutely nothing positive to say about this super shady business. I took my car in as my automatic transmission was clunking when putting into gear and also hesitating on gear change. It's was under warranty so I got these clowns and they said they'd "take a look" and provide a "free estimate". Next thing I know they said they took the transmission apart and there was "major" issues and I needed a new or reconditioned replacement, right away! After Synfast oil change in Point Loma (on Gaines St) put the wrong fluid in my car and burned up the transmission, Frank and his guys did a fantastic job of repairing/rebuilding it. They were very professional and the work is perfect. I will go to them for ALL my mechanic needs from now on.

I went to Miramar Transmission back in June for a simple Transmission Service. They found a small leak and repaired it with a transmission kit, I just to pay for the part, free install. Not only was the service great, but Frank had the best pricing as well. Dropped my car off around 8am and it was ready by noon! Now that's dope!

So, after 5 years of owning my 2007 Mazda 3 (got her used in 2009), and driving her up to L.A. County and back the last couple of years, the dreaded check engine and transmission lights came on over Labor Day weekend. After going on Yelp and looking for transmission specialists in the area, Miramar Transmission stood out.
