Crisis intervention therapy aims to intervene as quickly as possible after the traumatic event occurred. The goals are to help the client clarify the event, minimize the use of destructive coping skills, and create productive coping techniques. In all human beings, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors have a fundamental connection.
Most addictions and mental health problems begin with individuals' inability to deal with and process the trauma they encounter in their lives, from abusive relationships, sexual abuse, etc. Trauma and violence are widespread, harmful, and costly health concerns. They have no boundaries with regard to age, gender, socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.
Selecting a Counselor or Life Coach is a highly personal matter. A professional who works very well with one individual may not be a good choice for another person. Counselors/Life Coaches and clients work together. The right match is important. A key factor in determining whether or not to work with a particular professional (once the person's credentials and competence are established) is your level of personal comfort with that professional.

Very nice and understanding staff. I was nervous present myself to this facility at first..Once in, I became reassured that they would be able to help me and my wife. I hopeful for a positive outcome for both of us. Staff does not judge based on your issues. I highly recommend this to friends and family.
