Your friendly neighborhood eatery in historic downtown Vallejo serving American/Mexican Cuisine. We are open Mon - Sat from 8AM to 1:30 PM daily and occasional Sundays! Please call ahead to avoid disappointment! Momo's Caf is a family owned business, run by the Melendrez family. The patriach, Manuel Melendrez, came to the United States from Mexico in 1973, and got a job washing dishes at the Burlingame Hyatt Regency hotel.
Manuel was paying close attention in the kitchen and learned how to prepare all the items on the menu. He ultimately was given the opportunity to cook breakfasts at the hotel. Melendrez worked in the Hyatt kitchen for 23 years before opening his own breakfast and lunch restaurant in South San Francisco.

Services
Fries covered with our refried beans, melted cheddar and jack cheese, and your choice of meat. Marinated meat sauteed with bell peppers, onions and potatoes. Served with rice, black OR refried beans, flour OR corn tortillas, guacamole, sour cream, shredded cheese and green salsa on the side. All quesadillas are served with rice, black or refried beans, guacamole, sour cream, and green salsa on the side.

Since their location off Springs Rd, to now Georgia St downtown.. this family owned & operated food spot is guaranteed to satisfy you in any way you like.
Been seeing the same amazing men in the kitchen this entire time, that's dedication! Respect.

First time here with the wife and I have no complaints and had a nice experience. The food was good, great customer service, inexpensive price and quick service. The reason for the four stars is because the indoor seating is definitely limited. I will be returning and I will recommend this place to others.

In a trip to see my son at college, my daughter and I ventured into this little cafe downtown Vallejo. It was in a Saturday and during the farmers market. They were able to seat us immediately and oh my; I stepped into a slice of heaven! The staff is extremely pleasant and responsive. I had the pleasure of working with both the servers on hand a d they were quick to make recommendations and keep the coffee coming!
Being from the South, I know a good chicken and waffles dish...Momo's nailed it! On top of that SEC football was on and I felt like I was at home! Heart melt... I can't wait

Omg. I've been coming here faithfully for over 7 years but today was especially good. The fried chicken was the best I've ever had, so crispy and cooked to perfection. The French toast was soft, gooey, and on point. I love the Momo's staff like family and they just keep getting better!!!! Great job guys ♡

We were greeted and seated right away on a Sunday around 10:30am.
Walked in and it smelled AMAZING
Menu isn't all long a crazy with tons of pages, it's simple and still has many options don't get me wrong.
We ordered the CJ Anderson & California Omelette our food arrived quick too!

Prompt, welcoming service. Definitely had the feel of a neighborhood place. We kicked off our day trip with a visit to a local Vallejo spot. Sports were on the television overhead and they had personalized merch for sale too.
Nothing too fancy, just good eats. I think my eldest son described it best. Everything was served like it came with "extra" - extra strawberries, bacon, whipped cream, syrup, butter. All the good stuff. Generous portions tided us over until dinner.

I can't believe I haven't been to Momo's Cafe before Covid-19! This restaurant's breakfast has been a treat during rough weeks and is always a go-to for takeout on the weekends.
The pricing for the portion is amazing! So much food! Their bacon is thick and so tasty as is their sausage. Quality meats! You can have a side of pancakes with your meal for no extra cost. Mind blowing!

Love this place. I get the same thing every time. Huevos Rancheros with steak, potatoes and pancakes. The potatoes are well seasoned. Their pancakes are my all-time favorite. I have tasted their waffles and they are also incredible. Can't recommend this place enough. Seating is limited but is obviously worth the wait.

Small hole in the wall but the service is great. The people are friendly. The food is very tasty. We ordered random things like side of country potatoes, side of scrambled eggs, french toast waffles and quesadilla. Waffles were big. Frend toast delicious. Eggs fluffy. Quesadilla...OMG..cheesy!!!! Totally worth a try people!

This place was close to another stop we had to make and so we stopped by to check it out. The food was scrumptious. They shared a green homemade salsa which was off the hook delicious and the chicken and waffle was mouth watering good. I ordered the chicken steak and it was yum too. My daughters apple juice tasted a little watered down but other than that the service was excellent and the food was outstanding. I would definitely go back here.
