To help you achieve your goals, we've put together a book for you. It includes a Food Diary. Tracking your food intake daily is a GREAT way to be mindful of how much you are eating and it can DOUBLE your weight loss. Since 1986, AYC has been known as one of the best and most unique fitness training centers in Kansas City.

Our goal is to help you achieve yours in a positive, friendly atmosphere. We don't have membership fees or an "open gym." Instead, you and your personal trainer have a private studio space to yourselves. Our services include Personal Training, Pilates, Small Group Classes - both Virtual and In-Studio, Sports Conditioning, Yoga, Nutrition Coaching, and Corporate Wellness programs.

Today, AYC specializes in corporate wellness and personal training. He has been actively involved in the fitness industry for more than three decades as a club manager, owner, personal fitness trainer, and corporate wellness supervisor.

Small Group Training provides you with an intimate environment in a small group setting (3-8 people) where you can excel and take your training to the next level at a fraction of the cost of personal training. You'll still benefit from world-class coaching, targeted programming to meet your personal needs, and ongoing accountability from your coaches and fellow group members.

Greg, I was very pleased with Derick as my trainer. Unfortunately he wanted to move on. However, I now have Crystal as my trainer and she is a very good trainer and I like her. She is doing everything to keep me healthy and strong so that I can continue playing tennis long after my current 84 years of age. Thanks.

I have had Ellen as a personal trainer and also as a HIIT class instructor. She's patient and is good at adjusting workouts to meet my needs, even in the group classes. I appreciate her calm demeanor and kind approach. Her classes are well attended by generally the same people - that says more about her abilities than this review. She definitely has a following.
I was attracted to AYC because of the smaller classes and the people. Love Nancy, the operations mgr at AYC. Greg and his family are all friendly, dedicated to fitness, and down to earth. You won't find a better place to workout if you

So, I am your typical aging 50+ year-old, former high school athlete. I have always been active and enjoyed distance running, but realized a little over 4 years ago that I was getting injured more frequently. At the advice of a friend, I sought out David Justice at AYC, who has worked miracles on my well-being and conditioning. I started with a commitment to try AYC for 3 months but soon learned that seeing David on a regular basis - mixing in my own workouts - could improve my overall health to a point where its the best it has been in over 20 years. I'm not looking to become a Navy Seal anytime

Nadine is the most awesome yoga instructor I've ever experienced. She always aware of everyone's physical "issues" and gives great guidance/alternative moves/adjustments as needed for individual needs. I so look forward to my yoga sessions twice weekly. It definitely makes a huge difference in my flexibility and physical functioning.

We have been contracting with AYC for almost 4 years. They have provided a seamless program, including ease and monitoring of registration. They are professional, friendly, and provide attainable workouts for all fitness levels. Everyone feels successful, from the beginner to the advanced. Yoga has been a personal favorite of many of our team members who have seen significant changes in flexibility and stress reduction. Their staff is wonderful!

I've been in David's HIIT class and Nadine's yoga class since they began at SMMC. Both David and Nadine are excellent instructors and keep their classes fresh and fun and as challenging as each participant chooses. They encourage us to reach new levels of fitness while tailoring exercises to meet the needs of each individual in class. So pleased Advent Health continues to offer these classes to their associates!

The AYC classes are exactly what I was looking for! The trainers are excellent and very dedicated to watching your form, correcting your form so you can avoid injury and get the most out of your workout, and offering adaptations when necessary! It is a supportive and positive environment. Also, each session I have attended has started and stopped right on time! I am so grateful for the recommendation I was given to give AYC a try!

I have been taking Pilates at AYC for over a year. The space is well organized, and my teacher is very personable, easy going, clear in instructions, and VERY patient. As an older adult, she continues to patiently direct my activities with humor and kindness, but I still get a
good work-out and leave feeling invigorated and more flexible.
I recommend AYC very highly.
