Osteoarthritis of the knee is painful and disabling. It is even worse when both knees are involved. While total knee replacements are very effective at relieving pain from arthritis, the rehab and recovery can be longer and prohibitive for some individuals. Medial joint space arthritis gives a curved "bow-leg" appearance to the legs as the cartilage wears out on the inner side of the knee.
Watch our Video below about Michele Klein's Titanium Total Joints. She was in a wheelchair for 3 years because of SEVERE rheumatoid Arthritis. She could not walk and had terrible flexion contractures of both hips and both knees. It was an incredible challenge, but She endured 4 joint replacements in 4 months -2 hips and 2 knees, and now she is enjoying more and more activities in her recovery.

Scottsdale Osborn is the oldest Scottsdale hospital, but don't let the aging exterior fool you. It is the only Level One Trauma center in the East Valley, and one of the busiest trauma centers in the West.

I went to see Dr. Kozinn a year-and-a-half ago from my home in Las Vegas thinking I was going to need a full knee replacement. After looking at the X-Rays, examining my knee and talking with me about the sites of pain, he indicated that he was 75 per cent sure that we would only need a partial (uni-compartmental) replacement. He said he wouldn't know for sure until he got into the surgery because he couldn't see the other side of the interior of the knee. I quickly gave him permission to use his own judgment and do what was best.
To my delight, when I woke up the nurse indicated I did indeed need
