Valley Center Optometry

Loved the service and easy to get to from my house...they have a great selection of updates eyewear! Also, they work well with my ins.

I recently took a trip into Valley Center Optometry for the first time in a while, I realized I've forgotten how much better the experience is then that of the Costco or Walmart vision centers. They really went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of carefully and completely.
For me it always seems like a big life decision when it comes to picking out a new pair of glasses, and sometimes I dread the process, but everyone there made it enjoyable. I got a lot of help from Noah that day who was helping me pick out a pair of glasses because most of the time a second opinion is really helpful

Dr. Joyce is incredible. Very friendly and knowledgeable. He graciously did a joint appointment with my husband and I a couple months ago and was able to figure out exactly what had been done wrong with our previous prescription.
The receptionist, Margaret, is not as great. She refuses to wear a mask properly and lacked social distance when she approached me in the lobby. I was given an appointment to pick out glasses but waited over 40 minutes to be assisted. When my husband got contacts, Maragaret marked the wrong boxes for left and right eye, so he had issues for the first week and a half of

First visit went well, we liked the doctor. my lady went back to order her contacts. lady didn't know how much they were. tried said two boxes for $140, we told her that's way more than were used to for same contacts, so she said ok I'll give you three, but didn't give her a receipt. went to pick them up and she said she only ordered 2 boxes. we paid double what we usually do. wont be going back. didn't even give a receipt.

Fair price, large selection of frames, friendly people no fuss in and out and on your way.

I have always appreciated the services I have received at Dr Joyce's practices. I have worked with both. The staff was great helping me with my insurance and within my budget to find me the right glasses. I am lucky to have found him as he identified the beginnings of macular issues so I could begin a vitamin regiment stopping the progression.

I went to see Doctor Joyce about an eye alignment issue that I was concerned about. Doctor Joyce was super knowledgeable and took very good care of me. The rest of the staff was also really kind and helpful and I enjoyed the fresh baked cookies!

Dr Joyce is a Rock star when it comes to your eyes and their health. Takes time finding out about what goes on with your eyes. I had an issue that Dr Joyce Identified quickly he has monitored it and followed up making sure I was getting the proper correction. His staff is second to none when you leave their office you know you have had the best service.

Dr. Joyce is very personable and professional. He and his staff provide expert and friendly service to the people in Valley Center and we are fortunate to have them in our community. I recommend them highly!
