Truth has lived through the entire spectrum of addiction, mental health challenges, and the criminal justice system. She not only survived but thrived, and both her resilience and her recovery have been no less than miraculous as she's become a leader in Georgia's Recovery Community. After serving 7 years in prison for a non-violent drug-related offense, Truth came out of this experience with a passion and determination to help others navigate all that those challenges impose.
She is a Certified Peer Specialist in both Addictive Disease and Mental Health, and is a CARES (Certified Addiction Recovery Empowerment Specialist) through the Georgia Council on Substance Abuse and the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities.Kate's personal mass incarceration journey as a parent began when her son Daniel, was sentenced on a mandatory minimum in the state of Georgia.

We will identify groups that are suited to you or your loved one's personality and needs that can not only mentor, but help to change their mindset to living a healthy and positive lifestyle.
