Services
Dr. Manso grew up in Cuba, and later practiced medicine in Asia and Europe, becoming familiar with many effective forms of natural healing. Nevertheless, until 1980, he practiced mostly the Western, American Medical Association type of medicine that he was taught at the University of Texas Medical Branch.
Our Infusions are available to our existing medical clients or to any person who is referred to us by an existing client. If you are new to our center, and do not know any of our clients who can refer you, you are not eligible to become an Infusion Client. You may, however, apply to become a patient here.
God created us for community. We were designed to need support from one another, and conversely, we find fulfillment when we play a part in meeting someone else's need. Here at Whole Health Houston, we understand the incredible value of being in community with one another. Our medical approach is often described as Integrative, which literally means "to serve to connect separate things".
Our doctors at Whole Health Center Houston are among the best at treating hormone deficiencies and diagnosing hormone-related illness. Read below for specifics on our hormone treatment philosophies. We prefer to use bioidentical hormones, either estriol alone or in a combination formula called Tri-estrogen.
Nutrition is a corner-stone for many of our treatment recommendations at Whole Health Center Houston, and in many cases customized nutrition is the only obstacle between you and whole health. Perhaps you've had success with a particular diet in the past, but it no longer works. Or maybe you have intermittant problems with your health and you wonder if it could be related to your diet.

I am an optometrist ( OD ) but Dr. Valeska Wells is a (DO) ( doctor of osteopathy ) plus she has completed a specialized residency based certification in integrative medicine. I have not been to any other doctor who has such credentials or has been so capable of offering effective Alternative Care for my various health issues. I know that she was at the top of her class in all of her education because I helped the pay for part of it. You see, I know my daughter very well and she will work tirelessly to help you resolve your health issues in the least invasive or destructive and most healing manner

Dr. Manso is such a compassionate doctor and he was willing to help us, with our sick son, while Dr. Wells was away. We will forever be thankful for Dr. Manso for going above and beyond to call us back, after hours, and help us get the prescription we needed. He took time to help us when no one else would call us back. I know natural healing remedies are usually optimal but sometimes it's critical to use synthetic medication and he was willing to help us during a very difficult time. We're doing much better now. Our son's healing is partly due to him and his caring heart. Thank you

Everything about my visits is wonderful. The office staff are personable & friendly. They are always eager to help me understand the information I need to know (billing, codes, etc). Dr Wells is amazing. I love her calm presence but most of all how she takes the time to listen and help me determine what’s really going on with my health instead of settling with the first or quick answer; she looks deeper. I never feel rushed or like an after thought. It’s a great place to go if you’re looking for a good doctor.

In trying to navigate fertility issues and then getting help with postpartum symptoms, Whole Health has truly taken that approach to addressing my needs. The staff is friendly, energetic and kind. for 26 years and my wife & kids recently visited Dr Weils.
I called Angela to schedule a simple IV like i had had many times in the past. She said since i had not been there in 3 years that she would have to bring me in as a new patient at a cost of $1600.00 dollars. How sad to see a once great practice run my family off
in pursuit of the BIG DOLLAR.

I have been going to Dr Wells since she began working at Whole Health. I have seen her practice grow in expertise, integrity, compassion and professionalism. She is the calm in a storm and a rock when weary. Her whole team works together for the good of their clients. I trust them with my health and my heart.
Currently being treated for cancer by Dr. Wells. She diagnosed and still works with me to fight. Protocols to fight it all the way to remission. Another Dr sent me home after surgery and wanted me to come back every 3 months for imaging.

The process started even before the appointment with the preparation through the online patient portal. Dr. Valeska was awesome and took a great deal of time in the initial visit. She asked a lot of questions and the discussion made me aware of things that were affecting my health that I was not even aware of. Dr. Valeska said her objective was to make coming to visit her unnecessary which I was in total agreement with.

I've been dealing with anxiety off and on since puberty. I went to a general practitioner and explained all my symptoms. I asked to have my thyroid tested/hormone levels tested and she immediately prescribed me an anti-depressant, and told me the hormone test was "unnecessary." I told her I'd like to wait and start taking the medicine till after my results of my thyroid test came in, and she said that was fine but again, unnecessary. She prescribed a medication that can have serious side effects after a ten minute conversation and with zero test results. 😨

Dr. Wells is a very thorough and caring doctor. I have never had a doctor take so much time on my intake visit. She ask so many questions and really makes you feel at ease. The office is a very calm environment. All the staff are friendly. It is truly what a visit to the doctor should be like. I have been working with her and Erin (nutritionist) for a little over a month and I have never felt better. They are proving to be great partners in restoring my health to where it should be.
