We are a small medical practice in Sugar Land, Texas (SW Houston) specializing in women's health care. From routine annual exam to complex gynecologic condition; from normal non-interventional pregnancy to high risk obstetrics, our mission is to provide the best quality ob/gyn care in a comfortable and friendly family oriented environment.
We believe that in order to achieve that quality of care, we must have the time to establish a trusting relationship with our patients. Our position in a small practice with a limited number of patients affords us that time. The five minute visits with a waiting room packed full of patients are not conducive to good patient-physician communication, much less good health care.

Services
Our state of the art modern facility is located on the north side of the Southwest Freeway between Dairy Ashford/Sugar Creek and Sugar Lakes/William Trace. Ample free garage parking is available in the visitor section. We are handicapped accessible. All our deliveries and major surgical procedures are perfomred at the Sugar Land Methodist Hospital, the premier hospital in Sugar Land/Fort Bend County area.
In obstetrics, we are firm believers in minimal intervention. We prefer to keep your birthing experience as natural as possible with minimal surgical intervention. We do not use forceps. We strive to maintain our low cesarean section rate (we have one of the lowest rates in the Houston area at about 12%).
We prefer to manage most gynecologic condition medically first resorting to surgery only if necessary. If you do need surgery, we are specialized in minimally invasive surgery to facilitate more rapid recovery. A hysterectomy, for example, if done by the traditional vaginal or abdominal approach will require several days of hospitalization and six to eight weeks of recovery time.
Just as the improvements in technologies have changed our daily lives, they have made a significant impact on modern health care. Only fifteen years ago, ultrasound was a novel technology relegated only to large research institutions. Now it is rare for anyone to go through an entire pregnancy without having one.
Dr. Nguyen is available afterhour, on weekends, and holidays for emergency and deliveries only. You can contact him directly by cell phone in those situations. We do ask that you respect our hours. Calls during our regular hours will be returned the same day. Do not call after hour for refills, appointments, or non-emergent matters.
