Sound to Mountain Home Inspections LLC is owned and operated by Caleb Posey, based out of Ferndale, WA. Graduated from Bellingham Technical College with a previous background in plumbing and heating. He shadowed under teachers on the Washington state board of home inspectors and is in frequent contact with his teachers, contractors, and new home owners.
1,501 sq. NOTE: A condominium/town-home inspection does not include exterior components such as the roof, nor does it include attic or crawlspace. If all of these components are not under the jurisdiction of a homeowners association and would require the buyer to maintain and repair, a regular home inspection would be more appropriate.

We could not be more pleased with Caleb; his inspection was critical to us understanding the condition of a house we were purchasing sight unseen. Everything Caleb did was spot on: he showed up when stated, delivered his report on time, clearly articulated the issues he saw (on the phone and with back-up photos for all of it), and generously offered to talk us through any additional areas or issues we had concerns with.
We asked more of him than we would for a typical inspection, because we couldn't physically get to the house to inspect it ourselves. He was kind, confident in his assessment

This was my first time needing a home inspection and I can honestly say Caleb made it an enjoyable and insightful experience. I had multiple questions throughout the inspection and Caleb was very thorough with his answers and was very knowledgeable with all aspects. The report given was very easy to read and sent to us within a few hours upon completion. Definitely would recommend to anyone and will be using Sound to Mountain for any homes in the future!

Caleb with Sound to Mountain was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We needed an inspection for a house purchase, and done in a quick time frame. Caleb was very thorough with our inspection. He included lots of pictures and detailed notes on his inspection of our new home. He was able to work around our work schedule and he was able to tell us the difficulty of the repairs that would need to be made. He also made sure we knew of any potential problem areas that first time home buyers would need to be aware of. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Caleb was incredibly thorough. As someone who is buying a home for the first time, it was incredibly comforting to see, what appears to be, everything that could be an issue in the future laid out in front of me. When I told my realtor that I wanted someone who gave a lot of details Caleb was who he named specifically and I can whole heartedly say he delivered. You may not always like what he has to say about what he finds but you will certainly appreciate knowing them in the future. Couldn’t recommend enough. Caleb is the best! He helped us with a home inspection and was friendly, thorough and very educated on the things we need to be aware of and watch out for. We were extremely pleased with the thoroughness of our inspection by Caleb! The report was sent to us the same day, with detailed and clear explanations and many pictures to help understand the areas of concern. Unfortunately, Caleb doesn't seem to know what he is doing. He was a very nice gentleman on the phone and in person, but he doesn't get hired for being kind. He is supposed to point out issues with the house and in that arena - he was abysmal. We have already spent upwards of $30,000 on the house since we bought it 10 months ago. The roof, the deck, siding, water damage, electrical, plumbing, and mold issues. He missed all of it. I suggest you keep looking. Hopefully, you will get to enjoy moving into your new home!
