We've been with HPM since February of 2013 and adding units every year. HPM has been instrumental in building up our portfolio every step of the way. I have moved 4 Times in my life where either HPM Managed; or took over the property I am in. Every time is the same experience. Absolutely unprofessional behavior, staffing issues being rude to clients on any issue. They never call back when you request or leave a message, They don't pull rent out on time and wait week[s] later to pull it and then wonder why rent is delayed even though through their OWN SYSTEM it's to be taken out on time; however isn't. I set up autopsy to avoid said issues and Still they find a way to prove unprofessional behaviors. Business wise they are that of a fumbling infant

Critical: Professionalism
Been living in my house for 4 years. Hmp properties bought the house in august and all of a sudden they give me a 30 day notice to leave the property. I was on month to month with old landlord. When hmp took over they never offered me to sign a lease. Worst company to go through for renting

We had a horrid experience with our child’s college apartment near U of Akron. They never gave our kid a copy of the lease after saying they would send it to her, never fixed the air conditioner because god forbid they replace a 30 year old non-working fire hazard, never replaced the lock at the door into the building, never fixed the plumbing, never fixed the leak in the upstairs bathroom, and then kept the security deposit because our kid called vs emailing them to inform them that she was not renewing the lease. Oh, and never returned calls and rarely

I rented a property with my ex-wife from HPM for the last 5 years and up until the last year everything was fantastic. Maintenance was always spot on, and nothing major ever needed addressed I had my now ex wife call in reference to a roof leak with no response so when she tried to contact Megan who we thought was still our manager we were told she had left the company and hadn’t ever got a clear answer on who we were supposed to talk to. We have since moved on but I had gotten to talk to Brad as he was at the neighboring property and he was genuinely polite and apologize for the Mis-communication

Horrible experience. I have been dealing with this company for over 2 years and they don't fix repairs in a timely manner. I made maintenance request 3 weeks ago about roof leaking and ceiling falling in and still no repair. Can't wait to get out of this lease with them. Very rude employees. I do not recommend using this company at all.

This place was great. I never had any issues the entire time I lived there. I never needed maintenance because everything was so well taken care of when I moved in. In dealing with staff, they were always helpful and responded quickly to any questions I had. If you're looking for a great place to live that is well taken care of, and handled by professionals. HPM Property Management is the only place to rent with! Thank you guys for the great experience.

I’ve been a tenant in one of their properties for over a year and a half, maintenance is horrible. There were holes in the walls broken doors and the kitchen floor was pealing up and falling apart. I was told it’d be fixed by move in date. Not surprising it wasn’t so I was told there would be someone from maintenance to fix it after move in, never happened. The only time maintenance ever came to my apartment was when my thermostat stopped working in the middle of winter AND THAT TOOK THEM THREE MONTHS. I highly doubt I’ll even get my security deposit back because of the damage THAT WAS

This is a real review. okay, so i rent at 200 high ave heritage house apartments in canton. I moved here feb 2020 . had bed bugs infested my whole apartment from september 2020 until about feb 2021. (when EP properties took over) they took over feb 1 2021 and handled it right away. HPM never answered or returned any of my calls.!! they are horrible. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. Not to mention my kitchen pipes have been leaking for 5 months as well. black mold grew on them. EP Properties has taken care of everything!! and they haven’t even been managing for two weeks! they are awesome . i am so happy

Had a great experience very professional. Ashley did an amazing job in getting me & my spouse into a house along with our children. She is very professional and has great communication. She told us all the information on the house as we did a walk through without us asking. She is hands down one of the best workers I have seen. I give her & her professionalism a 5 star.
