Dr. Mishra graduated from Western University of Health Sciences in S. California in 2002. He went on to Oregon Health & Sciences University in Portland, Oregon to complete his Psychiatry Residency in 2006. Dr. Mishra has over 20 years of experience. He has practiced Psychiatry in the hospital setting, Drug and Alcohol Rehab and Specializing in treatment resistant depression.
I take a Holistic Approach when addressing Your Psychiatric Care. I feel that Psychotherapy, Medication Managment, Diet, Nutrition, Excercise and a Good Support System are essential Pieces to a Healthy Mind and Body. A D.O. or Doctor of Osteopathy undergoes the same training as an M.D. The key difference is that D.O.'s receive extra training in the interconnected system of nerves, muscles and bones that make up two-thirds of your body.

I saw Dr Mishra a few years ago after coming to the conclusion that I couldn't continue living my life in such a pit of depression and anxiety. After a year or so of being treated by Dr Mishra and seeing a psychologist I have resolved a lot of issues that caused my difficulties and was able to get off all my meds other than the occasional Xanax.
