Since 1984, we've helped people and organizations create all sorts of memorable occasions: from children's birthday parties to large corporate events and glamourous weddings. I am so thrilled with the service we received from Baystate Tent and Party for our wedding. About a month before our wedding we decided to downsize and change venues, moving from an indoor industrial venue to my parent’s backyard. We were able to alter our order and get everything we needed including a 15x30 tent. We added tent sides at the last minute in case of rain and I’m so glad we had them overnight so the tables/chairs didn’t get drenched. Easy. Quick. Affordable. I had an event that needed last minute chairs, requested it online and picked it up two days later. I picked them up on a Friday and dropped them off on a Monday which was so convenient since the weekend days were so busy with other prep work! Both times going to the warehouse one of the employees Dario Felix was there and was so helpful! My best friend had to reschedule her wedding at the very last minute due to COVID, and I helped her to quickly plan a backyard wedding on August 15th. This has been the third time in 2yrs we’ve ordered with this company and they are completely amazing!! The Lion King bouncy stole the show and went perfect with my son’s Lion King Party! I've been renting inflatables 2-3x a year for the past 10 years for both private and school events. For this particular event Baystate was the only vendor in the area with a specific character. About a week before my event I received an email that the specific character inflatable was damaged. Based on other online reviews this seems to be a common pattern. Rented a tent and equipment for my wedding reception April 1.
They told us that if we kept the heater running the snow would melt off and the tent would be fine.
We kept the heater running, and knocked the snow off the tent every couple of hours.
The tent still collapsed, and we had to find an alternate location for the reception that day.
Now they're trying to charge me for the damages when we clearly followed all of their instructions.
"If your instructions led to the collapse, whose fault is that?"
"Well that would be mother nature..."

I'm giving them a 2 star based on the delivery men. The delivery men were great. The tent was perfect as well as the chairs. The missing three stars is due to how the left my yard. I had a 24 foot table complete with a custom made top which I planned on using for another party... The men who picked up the tent and chairs tipped the top onto the ground and trashed it. Totally unprofessional.

Everything went well and the kids loved jumping all weekend, but one concern is their timing and scheduling. I wanted to pick up the bounce house myself, but they did not allow bounce house combos to be personally picked up. When it came to delivering and pick up, they don't pick specific times and days which sucks because I had to miss multiple days of from work to make sure there was someone at home when it was time for delivery/pick up. I honestly don't know where to begin. The only reason I'm giving them one star is because they gave me a full refund. I spent a year and a half planning and designing my dream wedding. I picked a color scheme and based my entire decor off of that scheme. EVERYTHING at my wedding was shades of coral with gold accents. Unlike the other two ratings, I would give this place 5 stars. I called another local place and asked for a tent/canopy big enough for about fourty people. I was told they only install tents and one big enough for me would be $1000.00 and would require a building permit. I almost fell over! I only needed it for one day. They told me that tents and canopy's are not the same thing and tents are considered permanent and therefore require the permit. The 2014 South Shore International Festival in Hingham, MA used Baystate Tent Rental for a 40x100 ft event tent. Our festival was held at the Hingham Shipyard in a windy area. Baystate Tent Rental supplied this family event with a fun, safe and extra secure tent. They also provided outstanding customer service. Not only did they answer the phone, but also responded to emails quickly even before we secured them as our tent supplier. If you need a reliable event tent company, this is it.

The only reason I am giving this company 1 star is because the delivery person was very courteous otherwise they wouldn't even deserve that. They delivered a jumpy house for my nieces birthday 2 days before the event which we were told could be easy set up by us on the day of the party. what they did not tell is there os a large flap on the bottom that had to be sealed before it would inflate.
