Dr. Hunter seemed to be in ahurry during my exam, even though the waiting area wasn't crowded. Wish she'dbeen a little more methodical in her testing so I had a minute to really consider theoptions ( "Better in 1 or 2?") in my vision test. She is very pleasant, as were all otheremployees. I was past the date I normallyget my annual; I wanted to take advantage of my VSP account.
At Gateway Vision PC, our goal is to promote good eye health and enable you to have the clearest vision possible. We accept several types of vision insurance, cash, checks, and most credit cards. I have been a patient at Gateway Vision for over 15 years. I loved Dr. Friedman but my transition to Dr. Hunter has been excellent. Dr. Friedman chose well when he selected her to take over his practice as he retired. Dr. Hunter is thorough and thoughtful in her approach and knowledgeable. My eyes are complicated and she clearly knows what she is doing and up to date with new approaches and technology. Her staff is terrific too. Highly recommend.

I found that Dr. Hunter does not have much of a personality. She's very dull and somewhat condescending towards me. The office staff is not friendly and they don't pay attention to patients at all when they walk in. I've also found the frames selection to be a little limiting. Despite these shortcomings, Dr. Hunter noticed irregularities with my eyes that no other doctor had told me about before. These irregularities are not something that just pop up, and I'd been seeing an eye doctor once a year before seeing her. Therefore, I think she's good at her craft but doesn&apos

Drat. You drop your readers on the floor, and suffer a chip in the lens! I did over Easter weekend. So I went in, decided to buy another pair; I was reminded the damaged eyeglasses were still under warranty! I paid for the new pair, ordered the new glass lens. In one week Hanna called, my glasses were ready. And she put in the replacement lens right in her office! I'm all smiles with two pair of Flexon reading wire frame, comfortable with no wavy distortion as with plastic lenses-which work better for driving my experience. Thank you Dr. Friedman, ladies!

I moved here 3 years ago and one of my concerns was finding new Drs. I am thrilled that I found the Gateway Vision team!
I have recommended Dr. Friedman to several friends and new neighbors and each of them has called to tell me how happy they are with the way they are treated and the care they are given.

Dr. Friedman and his staff do a fantastic job listening and putting together a package for vision adjustment that takes into account my needs from a financial standpoint, but in addition I've been able to get a package that works for me in "real life" with work, sports, driving, and reading all taken into account. I also think that he does a great job keeping tabs on the health of my eyes. Highly recommended.

My first appointment here was extremely disorganized. First off, they printed my receipt under the name of a different patient, so I had to go back and pick up the new receipt. Secondly, they didn't realize that I already used my benefits towards contact lenses that year (if they simply asked me, I would've told them that!), so they rang up the price wrong. This wouldn't necessarily be a big deal, except they were using the discounted price to talk me into ordering contact lenses through them, versus 1-800-contacts. Turns out if I ordered online, it would have been cheaper. I didn
