Steve was a total pleasure to work with! Very knowledgeable, amicable, AND efficient. He picked a few frames for me, all of which I loved, and I ended up going with one of those frames. He was SO good with his recommendations! He also took my vision insurance and explained everything in detail all so patiently and proactively. It was so helpful and I appreciated the transparency and professionalism. Cannot wait to pick up my glasses in a few weeks!

This wild that i had such a great experience and today idk. I got here 13 mins late which is my fault so I rescheduled same day hours later. They rescheduled for 330. So far they are 11 mins late taking us in. There are other customers in the store. But we were here first and still waiting. The guys at the first desk is kind of rude. Well after waiting 30 mins they said the next app is 5pm. Wow o waiting a half hour for the to tell me that

Laurie is the best!! Most efficient, professional, and friendly optician I've worked with in years . I'll be recommending her and the rest of the team at EYE Q to all of my friends in the area.

This was my first appointment at Eye Q and I could not recommend them more highly. The office was incredibly well prepared-- hand sanitizer at the door, lines 6 ft apart, a plastic sheet in front of the front desk, and Dr. Luria sanitizes all the equipment twice in between patients. Dr. Luria was very knowledgeable (even explained the difference between contact solubility levels) and the receptionist told me how to get the most out of my insurance and didn't pressure me to buy anything that day. My prescription was emailed to me within the hour.

I am really happy I made a trip to Eye Q. Steve was super knowledgeable, helpful and yes patient as I tried on multiple frames. Settled on a Moscot frame and could not be happier with my new glasses and sunclip. Turns out my insurance covered quite a bit more than I thought which is super. Next time I am in I will ask for some vinyl to be played on the turntable they have! Great overall service was my experience at Eye Q in Cambridge.

Unbelievably helpful, courteous and extremely friendly! I was visiting from out of town & was having a contact lens emergency -- the folks at Eye Q stepped up and couldn't do enough to help me out, even though I wasn't a customer of theirs. I was able to easily get a couple of replacement pairs & I cannot thank them enough for being so caring and accommodating. I would recommend them to anybody in the neighborhood looking for an optometrist!

This place has stylish frames like many other places. What many other places don't have are Steve and Ashley. For years their meticulous attention to detail and thoughtful communication have allayed my anxiety when it comes to looking fashionable. They examine the fit and comfort of my current glasses EVERY SINGLE TIME I visit, and their aesthetic advice is on point. Stunning lack of integrity and concern for their reputation and customers. Pick another place to buy your glasses. Ten months ago, I purchased very expensive glasses costing almost $1000 from Eye Q. The hinge fell apart with no abuse or stress. I have been wearing glasses for almost 60 years and know how to take care of them. When I returned to Eye Q, the salesman confirmed the purchase and immediately said the manufacturer has a 1-year warranty but won't cover this failure. He also confirmed that the store has a 1-year guarantee but said he would need to confer with the owner. The

We weren't sure if my health insurance covered the exam, so I paid out of pocket with my credit card just in case. Two and a half months later, turns out they sent my account to a medical billing company, even though I already paid. Currently spending time trying to clear that up.
Staff are professional and friendly (Dr. Abbott is awesome) other than David Luria himself. I had a couple appointments with Dr. Abbott, then another with him -- he was condescending and seemed to be frustrated the appointment was taking too long (it was the end of the day and maybe he had somewhere to go).

Up to spec technical equipment, a solution for my "gray area" astigmatism, and vinyl that plays in the front? The only competing optometrist I have been to is Modern Eye in Philly and turns out, they're buds!
I got new frames that I think make me look sharp. I ordered my year supply of contacts and they helped me figure out how to save money and get a rebate. And! They helped walk me through the insurance benefits so I pay the least out of pocket.
I also learned there are new screening machines (that were used) for observing your retinas and tear ducts and they take images to help

Every part of my experience was great. I was brought in exactly on time for my exam (I waited a bit because I was early), which was a strong start because I've often had to wait upwards of 30-40 minutes after my scheduled appointment. And it was on a Saturday!
Dr. Luria was so helpful, explained everything that he was doing every step of the way. The overall exam experience was pleasant, and it was quick!
As I was leaving I was asked if I wanted to browse frames, which I wasn't planning to at the moment. Instead of pushing me, the staff was very understanding, which was very refreshing

Wonderful, Friendly Service
A waiter knocked my glasses off the table and might have even stepped on them. I was so upset. The gentleman at Eye Q saved the day -- he had my glasses back in one piece in minutes. I also noticed the store lives up to its "intelligent eyewear" claim, with upscale frames. Awesome place.
