Alex, a 27 year old female who is dressed very professionally for our first meeting, breaks into tears almost as soon as she sits down on my couch. I'm losing my mind. I can't eat, I can't sleep, I'm in a constant state of panic. I'm not even sure if I remember what it feels like to be normal. She shakily takes a tissue out of the box beside her and wipes her eyes.
June was 28 years old, fit, beautiful and falling apart when we first met. Her life had gone quite according to her plans until she started university. Her freshman year was filled with sorority parties, tons of new friends and a lot of binge drinking. She maintained her grades enough to pass and start her second semester but by spring, she was failing almost every course.
Harry was 62 years old when he presented to see me for the first time. He had never sought any sort of mental health care previously and was clearly uncomfortable as he came online for our first meeting. Shifting uncomfortably in his chair, he told me that he needed something to help him sleep. The more we talked, the more I learned about Henry.
Ken was a 57 year old professor of education who looked utterly exhausted the day we first met. His pain and fatigue had started about a year ago. He'd first seen his primary care provider who prescribed rest and muscle relaxers, then he sought relief from a chiropractor who gave him several supplements to try and recommended weekly adjustments.

Appreciated our (my teen son’s) intake with Dr. Bailey: very friendly, good listener, personal approach, we felt understood.

They are the worst. STAY AWAY. They force you to pay a $250 fee to reschedule an appointment if it’s less than 2 days away — even if you had an unexpected emergency or illness. Absolutely no sympathy - they are only after the money. Disorganized, Inflexible, and incompetent.

TL;DR: AVOID!!!
I had an initial meeting with nurse Carmona on a Wednesday. The meeting was short and I didn't feel like she was listening to me. Nor did she want me to understand what she was saying as she rattled of 8 different medication names and tried to prescribe me three at one. I declined and she prescribed two and then sent the prescription in. She also said that I needed to set up a follow up in two weeks and I did that.
After a day or two I hadn't received a call from my pharmacy so I called WellPsyche but no one answered. I left a voicemail and they called back after 5 minutes and

I was referred here by my insurance. I cancelled my appointment because this place requires a $500 hold. That is immoral and should be illegal. I will not support such a disgusting practice. I can't imagine a group of people who feel that they should prevent the underprivileged from receiving medical care would be very good at providing it and I hope everyone who works there goes home every day knowing what horrible human beings they are.

If you are having a mental health crisis that doesn't quite require an emergency room but could easily be addressed with a bit of compassion and understanding - even a five minute phone call by your provider DO NOT go here. Absolutely zero human care. No compassion what so ever.

The other reviews are right, stay away. This place is at best sketchy, at worst a scam. They waited until right after the deadline for canceling appointments to let me know my insurance actually didn't cover this, and that the visit would be 350 dollars, and since it was past the deadline, it would be 500 dollars to cancel. This is not normal, other psychiatric clinics confirmed that you verify insurance BEFORE scheduling an appointment, and that they were as one receptionist said, "bending you over."
It took weeks of phone calls and emails to finally get them to remove the charge

I have been using wellpsyche for almost a year now and been very satisfied with my doctor and also the staff. They are very supportive, caring and compassionate. I work with Claudia Niebla, one of the patient coordinators who does an amazing job in follow ups, coordinating things with employers, taking care of forms that need to be filled out and submitted by a strict deadline. She is extremely responsive with high work ethics who makes sure the patient gets what she/he needs. I recommend Wellpsyche to anyone seeking mental health.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! They wont speak with you, confirm they accept your insurance, explain their referral process OR even make sure they can match you with a Doctor... UNLESS, you give them your credit card info, then its all good.
I provided EVERYTHING they asked in the online contact information form (including insurance info and copy of my DL), except my payment info. What am I paying them for? I don't even know this company yet! It took two phone calls to them to find out my request was "incomplete" without my credit card and wouldn't provide me any information on their doctors, my insurance

At first it went well with a psychologist and then in needed to get a talk therapist and they're scheduling when to fell apart. The earliest schedule they had for 3 weeks out. After i had my first appointment the lady quite and the organization didn't attempted to schedule me with someone else. Even my psychologist was confused and concerned with the lack of professionalism and didn't understand why they didn't schedule me for someone.
So I tried again and had to wait another 4 weeks. After the first appointment the closest next available appointment was another 3 weeks out

I called to make an appointment, was not able to see the psychiatrist on google, was referred to another doctor, waited 2-3 weeks, and was left a message the doctor only sees patients 6-55 years of age. Well psyche asked me to call in to reschedule appointment with another doctor and of course when calling in I was on hold and prompted to leave a message. They knew my age, very unprofessional, careless, non-attentive, so I emailed them I was taking my business elsewhere.

I reached out to WellPsyche about 3 weeks ago, due to an ad I found, while looking for help for my fiancé who was suffering from depression. The first person I talked to seemed very understanding and helpful and said she would send some forms for me to fill out and a psychiatrist would be able to get back to us in 48 hrs. I had tried several other places that either weren’t seeing new patients or had very long wait list so I chose this place based on how quickly they could get us in. It’s now 3 weeks later and we have yet to receive even a phone call from this company. The day I contacted

Apparently my provider wasn't working on the day of my scheduled appointment and no one called or emailed to notify me. I had to leave numerous voicemails and emails before I finally got a replacement appointment two whole weeks after my original appointment. I had scheduled my appointment over a month in advance. When I informed staff of my experience I didn't get an apology or an explanation. They're just terribly unprofessional and unreliable. I submitted a complaint and was never contacted about it. No wonder their online ratings are so low.

Horrible experience. Unprofessional receptionist and definitely has all the signs of a scam. I called to ask questions about completing the large intake packet and it sounded like she was irritated that I was asking questions. She rushed me off the phone. I finally completed a lengthy application that requested credit card information for a $500 deposit. I gave them credit card info even though I had already verified that they were "in network". This was part of the required packet in order to schedule an initial appointment. After giving all them that information they summarily dismissed

STAY AWAY! Very hokey and unprofessional. Danny refused to protect my credit card data. He required as a condition of being a patient that all my credit card details be submitted through unsecured email, fax, or snail mail. He even refused to take my information over the phone! They are violating PCI credit card regulations and numerous privacy requirements. Just imagine how they'll fail to protect your medical records!! STAY AWAY!

Unbelievably Terrible Customer Service Ever.
According to their policy, which I must agree with to see a doctor, if I do not cancel my appointment 2 business days in advance before my appointment, they would charge me a cancellation fee ranging from $150 to $500 depending on the type of appointment.
Guess what? They CANCELLED my appointment over the email ON THE DAY BEFORE my appointment without even saying sorry.
I scheduled that appointment for medication refill 2 weeks ago. I almost run out of my medication now. Even though this was completely their fault and I explained all my situation

Any psychiatrist will charge $350-500 for the initial visit. They are strict about their schedules as well. They also all require credit cards to hold the visit. Anyone giving this business a negative review for standard practice is irresponsible. My last psychiatrist required all this paperwork as well, no exceptions. I was a postpartum single mother with a newborn and couldn't stand at a desk for long enough to complete the paperwork -- no exceptions. Anyone complaining has never seen a psychiatrist. You can pay $500 for a next day appointment here or go elsewhere and pay $500 for someone

I have read some of the reviews from others and it seems like they are upset at the company for following through with the rules that they clearly identify prior to you signing up. This Medical group has been awesome for me. I have been using them for 6 months now and have never had an issue, anytime I have needed to speak with someone its been easy. I had an issue where my prescription wasnt available at the pharmacy I originally wanted so I called WellPsyche and they changed the pharmacy to another location and got it within minutes. If you are like me and super busy this is the place to go.

Tried to find out if they are in network for my health plan. In order to do so I am told to fill out a lengthy intake packet and history. This includes giving a credit card to them to place on file and to place a $500 hold on until after the initial appt and till our of pocket responsibility is met. Way too much information to give to anyone about myself and my son without even knowing if they are an in network provider for my insurance!

I'm a medical professional also, and it is common practice to verify insurance prior to the patient filling out paperwork or making an appointment. Will

Okay these reviews are really baffling to me because I've been a patient for over 6 months and haven't experienced any of the issues noted in the comments below. My current combination of medications is working better for me than any other meds have and I truly feel more rational and stable and balanced than I have in years! Pany is the doctor who oversees my meds and she's been extremely helpful. I also have monthly appointments with Roxana. I communicate with both providers via telepsych.

Regarding billing, I have never been billed incorrectly. I have Blue Shield Gold and my

Avoid this place at all costs. It's a scam. I was a patient for almost 2 years because I was too busy to go elsewhere and annoyingly, female therapists are hard to find in LA. Doctors there are middling to bad and unengaged. I used to joke to my friends that I had a therapist worthy of a Seinfeld episode.
They hold your prescriptions ransom, you have no direct line of communication with your doctor outside of appointments. Besides Martha, the staff is generally rude and cold. Never missed an appointment and then made a mistake in my calendar. Missed a PHONE appointment and was charged $250

Truly the worst. I can't even speak to the staff or services as I never even got to see a doctor. $500 to hold my appointment even with High End PPO insurance, 3 weeks for first available appointment (Not with a doctor but just a PA), over 6 weeks to see an actual doctor, and then they call and cancel my initial appointment 15 minutes before it was scheduled because "the doctor would not be coming in that day". I was admittedly upset as I was counting on that appointment, literally down to the day, or else I would be going cold turkey off multiple psych meds which is quite dangerous

As someone who has spoken to several psychiatrists and therapists in the past, I can wholeheartedly tell you that WellPsyche is the best! They actually took the time to explain how my brain works and how medicine (in addition to other things) can be a part of the solution. They are caring and professional and easy to talk to, but more importantly, they are truly experts. It's very easy to trust a provider who explains to you exactly how your brain works and how they can help you manage it. I have not been this successful in my relationships, career, and personal growth as I have since meeting
