Our team of eye doctors and eye care staff are here to care for all of your vision needs. We handle everything from adult and children's eye exams and hard-to-fit contact lenses, to eye emergencies, treatment of eye diseases and co-management of eye surgery such as LASIK. We truly believe in routine eye examinations so that you can see as clearly as possible. Once you have to get glasses or contacts, it is even more important to watch the health of your eyes. You also need routine checks to ensure your prescription has not changed. On average, we recommend scheduling an appointment once every two years to ensure your eyes are remaining healthy.

Best Eye Doctor and Staff in Town ! My Mom and I went today and Covid procedures were great! Friendly staff and Doctor! They helped me learn how to put on my contacts and take them out! I've read some reviews and I would say the best option is to get your prescription and go to VisionWorks or another place of choice to order glasses they always will print out your prescription for free! - Cherise Davis

I read the reviews,did my research. This location was by far the worst experience I have Ever encountered. I had my eyes examined, purchased 2 pairs of glasses,Sun glasses plus my every day glasses. My part AFTER insurance was over $1000. When I received my glasses I still couldn't use the glasses. I went back to see what could be done, I was Then told nothing could be done, the doctor suggested I have cataracts removed. WHY WASNT I TOLD THAT BEFORE I SPENT $1000.00 .FOR GLASSES I WILL NEVER USE!!

I have been a patient at both the Mansfield and DeSoto locations for years (over a decade). Dr. Smith is the best eye doctor I have ever had. He explains everything in a patient manner answering all my questions and going over options in treatment. And believe me with my vision it needs lots of explaining and patience. He even consults with specialists he knows about my condition since I have unique vision challenges.

I have been wearing glasses for 20 yrs. I have never had to wait for over two weeks to get my glasses. I called after two weeks on a Thursday was told my glasses would be in on that Friday no later than Monday. I go there on Wed. And I knew there was a problem because I waited for 30 min. Only to be told that my glasses were at the other store and in a pink frame! Here's the guy "you picked pink frames right" while holding

Honesty is the best policy. Be sure you tell them at the front desk if you do not want the $39 scan that is not paid by your insurance. Also, they are really friendly and extra clean. you will feel very safe here. The glasses are a bit high price for me at this time, but I did like the selection. I would given 5 stars if the guy in optical would have been totally honest, and not insulted my intelligence. Everyone else was totally pro! I do recommend this clinic, but grab your prescription and skip ! I unexpectedly yanked into paying for the eye scan. I would have been happy to pay if they explained

Service is lacking in this office (Hulen). I have been coming here for a few years and have ignored the reviews I have read about them online, but this is the last time I will be coming to Advanced Vision Care. I have never had a problem getting sunglasses tinted here until this year. For some reason they could not get my lenses dark enough. Evidently their using a new vendor. If the sun is causing me to squint and I'm blinded when I wear them outside, their no good to me! Staff would not refund the whole amount back to me only the frames. Again, If I can't wear them what good are they

I had to order 3 different pair of glasses. The first pair was too heavy on my face and the second pair I could see better but too heavy still. Third pair I could not see and each time I had asked for my money back and they kept telling me no. I returned all 3 pairs and they would NOT GIVE ME MY $550.00. I will be putting them on RIP OFF. I liked them until it was time to pick up my glasses, and they were closed at 12:20 p.m. even though they had just told me a few hours earlier that they didn't close for lunch until 12:30 p.m. That wasted my lunch and I still have to go back to pick up my glasses. I'm going to seriously ask them if I need to schedule an appointment just to pick them up because I'm only irritated now but I will be pssed if I go back at 4:45 p.m. and they're closed even though the sign says they don't close until 5. :-/

This is regarding the Hulen location. First time patient and had an overall good first impression. I hadn't had an eye exam in a couple of years and I have good eye insurance, so I went in for overall exam without any real concern. Toward the end the doctor (who during the exam made thinly veiled sexist and racist comments), said he was going to dilate my eyes to get a good evaluation of overall health of eyes. While waiting, I chose a pair of sunglasses, which were going to be $4 over the allotted amount, I said fine. she then said my total was $62. I said "but my co-pay is $10

Five star team and first rate staff. I always feel as if we are his only patients when we arrive. The staff is wonderful and does and amazing job making us feel comfortable and at home.
He always takes the time to explain our results to us, and recommend options for our benefits. We never have a wait longer than 5minutes for our appointments. His office staff is sweet and they even help us keep our young daughter (toddler) occupied.
I love being there and they are a huge blessing to our family. We moved from out of state and picking new doctors are always hard to do. Even my husband agrees

I'm a former patient and I must say I will never return here ever again. Dr. Smith is rude, incompetent, disrespectful and arrogant! His office staff is trash with poor customer service skills. He should relocate or invest in some cultural sensitivity training and improve his customer service skills as well as his poor staffs skills. Do yourself a favor and find another doctor. He's not worth your time and money!
