All Home Inspections performed by JRS Inspections conform to the ASHI Standards of Practice and are performed by an ASHI Certified Home Inspector. The Home Inspection also referred to as The Standard Inspection offers a visual examination of the home, a detailed report, and supporting photographs. This basic scan can uncover many defects that would otherwise go unnoticed by visual inspection alone such as hidden i.e.
The Four point insurance inspection is typically requested of your Insurance Company when the home is more than 30 years of age. The age requirement may vary depending on the insurance agency. Hence the name, the four point inspection is focused on the 4 main areas of the home: The Roof, Plumbing System, Electrical System and the HVAC System.
The report (OIR-B1-1802 (Rev. 01/12)) generated from this inspection enables the homeowner to claim discounts or credits from the Insurance Company. A Wind Mitigation inspection identifies and reports on the key components of the structure which would most likely be impacted during a hurricane event.
Residential and Commercial Roof Inspections: Your roof is a vital component of the structure. If left untreated, roof leaks can cause tremendous and costly damage. We will provide you a written inspection report inclusive of photographs documenting the current condition of your commercial or residential roof.
Mold Inspection, Testing, and evaluation performed by an outside Licensed and Certified Mold Assessor can be requested and coordinated before, during, or after the Standard Home Inspection. Because we currently do not use in-house inspectors for this service we do not offer Mold Inspections as a stand-alone product.
