The hotel itself is very updated and clean. The room is super small! There is no room to walk past each other. The bed is a size full and very uncomfortable. Also they gave us three uncomfortable pillows. We were in room 118 on the corner, not sure if all the rooms are small or just the corner room. But if you're taller than 5'5 ask for a larger room.
You can also hear the upstairs neighbors walking. Also heard music blaring from the neighbor's room.

Quaint little Motel style accommodations. We are in room 114, a king bedded room which was more like a suite than a room. Had a separate living area with desk and couch. Awesome walk in shower. Had all the comforts...coffee, microwave, larger refrigerator. Very clean. Property maintained very well. No outdoor amenities but close to the beach. Rates more reasonable than others in the area and feel very safe here amongst beautiful beach homes. Great comfortable stay.

Non-chain private hotel that is a little more expensive than budget commercial chain motel accommodations. However, environmentally speaking, exteriors are updated lending to unique atmosphere. Rooms are smaller than average, but better than typically found in the "budget line" series of accommodations. Beds are double in size, so those wanting queen or king size beds should find different accommodations. Rooms come with mini fridge, microwave, and single cup coffee maker. Panda Express directly across the street for a good option ave grocery not far away. Good option for low cost accommodation

I had a great experience here. I stayed for 3 nights and had no issues at all. The woman who checked me in was friendly and the process was quick. The room was a bit small but I didn't mind as it was just me staying there. I would have liked the extra lock mist hotels have on the door but I did not feel unsafe. The location was nice.

I live in the area but needed a spot for a couple days and this was the cheapest, SAFEST place. They had a promotion, so I paid $72/night. Awesome.
It's difficult to find decent hotels under $100/night, so I was pleasantly surprised. The room was teeny tiny (#112, with full size bed), but it had a mini fridge and microwave. The bathroom was super nice! Lots of hot water. Heater worked well. Very sunny room.

Horrible service claims smoking in the room charged $250 extra. No smoking was done in the room at all. When I called to ask about it I was told I'm not going to argue with you about it over the phone take it up with your credit card. This is what you get for thinking you are getting a room at a good price. Also very loud street traffic very hard to sleep. The worst customer service I have ever receive. Definitely will not recommend this place.

This old man at the front desk supposedly management shouldn't be allowed to deal with the public since anyways this is suppose to be classified, hospitable? Far from hospitality, this place is by far the worse I've seen in my life. I was charged for a room, didn't let me stay denying I had a reservation and claiming it wasn't paid so I ended up going to another hotel, all this with him being extremely rude, I then called the hotel to inform that I was charged by them despite claiming I wasn't and (to my surprise) they of course were rude and hung up on me, when I disputed

We've stayed here two years in a row. The property had begun remodeling before we got there last year, and were in the middle of remodeling last year, and now it seems like the completed most of it by the time we came back this year.

I never have experienced such horrible customer service. We were hoping to stay here for the Fourth of July and were pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were but our experience quickly changed upon our interaction with the owner. He pounded on our door after we returned from the beach only a few hours after check in and rudely demanded to speak to us in the office with no context. The way he treated us was with a complete lack of respect and we felt uncomfortable and like he was watching us on the security cameras. I have to say that I am really surprised and disappointed by the negative reviews. My cousin and I stayed here in January 2019 and had a beautifully remodeled two queen room, with one queen being off to the side in almost it's own room. It was not directly in front of the TV, which was fine because my flight was early in AM and his was not. The bathroom was also beautiful and I had zero complaints. Sure there wasn't a spot to place my bar of soap, but c'mon. For around $100 in LA? It was a dream. Especially considering the hovel we stayed in our first night for MORE money!

Stayed here on New Years Eve. Rooms are beautiful and very clean! The front desk lady was really nice as well. Only reason why im giving it 4 stars is because the people above us were soo annoying! Literally all night! Sounded like furniture was being dragged around and footsteps ALL night. Tried calling front desk but nobody was there. I recommend getting an upstairs room.

If we could rate this zero and still post a review, it would be zero.
We started off our stay by meeting our next door neighbors. Not that I wanted to see them half naked in bed, but the lovely man at the front desk checked us into their room and gave me a key to open their door.
A panicked phone call later, we end up in a nice room that has 2 inches of standing water in the shower.
They have no other rooms and the very helpful man at the front desk was amazed that we wanted to be able to shower. Promises that someone is coming to fix it right now. We leave for dinner. Come back an hour

The staff was very pleasant and accommodated our needs from the moment we arrived. The view of LA is great and we enjoyed the amenities and convenience of its location. We stayed in one of the suites and the details were looked at by a trained eye to make sure a paying customer feels good and taken care of during their stay.
If you are looking for a decent place to stay in the Manhattan Beach area close to beaches and airport, this is a great place!

I'm going to keep this simple. Horrible service. The lady in the front (Christy) needs to check her attitude. It is very unwelcoming.
When we were checking in, she had told us that rooms were not available til 3pm sharp. It was 2:34pm. Give me a break. This was not the worse part. We literally waited outside until 3pm to try again.
When we actually tried to check in, our info was not coming up. We had booked our trip through booking.com, and she swore she did not see our booking information. After getting off the phone with a staff member of booking.com, AND showing this lady our booking
