Had a wonderful stay from 12/1 to 12/4. By the time I was able to get my luggage & get my rental car it was way later than I anticipated so I called & gave them a heads up & they assured me we were ok. I was greeted by Ann & she was so helpful, there's limited parking & she went out of her way to move her car down to the other parking area so that way we could park closer.(I did not ask her to) She made sure we were comfortable & had plenty of blankets. The hotel is a lot nicer & gives off a different vibe than what you see online. It was peaceful & really pretty with all the updates. I believe

The hotel is very nice and right on the beach. Check-in was quick easy and friendly. The place has been remodeled and looks amazing. The heating and air conditioning are not working but they are installed and brand new so it's just a matter of time before they work. They provided me a space heater which kept me warm no complaints.

This is what $400/night gets you. A room without AC. When we booked this place, we did not notice that the rooms didn’t have AC, so when we got to the property on an 80-degree day we realized that the room was too hot and uncomfortable. We tried talking to the GM Marina about this to let us cancel our reservation so that we could move to a different hotel. BUT she wasn’t budging and gave us horrible options, so we had no choice but to stay here. On top of not helping us out, she was also condescending. This was one of the worst customer service interactions we’ve experienced. This hassle

Beautiful decor. Directly on the beach. The general manager definitely needs to be trained on how to be hospitable and practice actual customer service. I called and book my room directly with a male employee. He advised that I would have a parking space and that my guest would be able to park as well. Upon arrival I was told that I should have received a phone call 24 hours prior to explain everything. I did not receive a call and the general manager was very robotic and fake friendly with all her responses. I was charged an extra $75.00 for parking. Before we could get to the room we had to walk

I've been to the Hermosa Beach area many times for work over the years; this is the first time I've stayed at the Sea Sprite hotel after I heard it had been renovated under new ownership. The hotel is amazing! Beautiful rooms, outside sitting areas, friendly staff, plus it's right on the beach and one block from restaurants/shops. Whether you're there on vacation or have a long layover at LAX (as in my case last week) and want to experience a nice mix of location, style, comfort, and a bit of retro, this is a great option!

It might still say Motel on the sign, but this HOTEL offers quality arrangements at a very reasonable price. If you think this hotel is not worth the cost, you shouldn’t stay here to begin with. The aesthetics of the rooms are superb, extremely clean, and even the rooms that say “partial ocean view” have ocean view you just need to walk out of your room on to the cat walk and be amazed by the beauty of the Pacific Ocean. Lastly, the location is perfect. You will be within walking distance to multiple coffee shops, restaurants, and the cleanest beach in California. Recommendation to the hotel
