The main focus of Dr. Barbee's primary care is to help patients achieve overall, long-lasting health. As their primary care provider, she maintains a full picture of the overall health of each and every patient, allowing her to make recommendations to improve health before treatment is necessary and refer to specialists when necessary.
While Barbee Primary Care focuses on long-term and preventive care of patients, immediate attention for urgent medical conditions is also available. Having previously worked in urgent care, Dr. Barbee is trained to handle many non-life-threatening conditions quickly and efficiently. Acute care is when patients receive active but short-term treatment for an episode of illness or urgent medical condition.
As a primary care physician, Dr. Barbee is able to consistently monitor and treat her patients suffering from chronic illness. Similar to the practice's view on preventive care, Dr. Barbee is able to help chronic illness patients keep their condition in check in order to stop any issues or complications before they arise.
Our staff strives to make every patient feel comfortable and welcome here at our beautiful Barbee Primary Care office. We get to know each of our patients on a personal level, ensuring that they are comfortable coming to us with any issues or concerns and that together as a team, we can take the preventive measures necessary to try to prevent future illness.
My father was an anesthesiologist, so my interest in medicine was sparked at an early age. In medical school, I realized that I really preferred to get to know patients well, following them for the long-term through their various chapters of life. Family medicine provides the opportunity to build great relationships with my patients and with their whole families, and it's my favorite part of the job.

Been going here for about four years. Mostly just a routine checkups. I called several times recently and the voice menu says the place is closed no matter what time of day you called. After that you have to go through several voice menus. Finally I got through to a person who took a message. Didn't hear back for a week and tried again leaving a message. I have not received a call back. Decided to go to another practice.

Extremely disappointed with Barbee Primary Care. I drove 95 minutes to get my elderly, wheelchair bound, mother out of her care facility for her 1:15 appointment. We arrived at 1:00 the door was locked and shade down. On the door it was posted Barbee Primary Care, hours, and showed lunch from 12:30 to 1:30 so I started calling and knocking at 1:15 to no avail. I kept getting a recording that they were at lunch until 1:30. I finally got through at 1:45 only to find that they moved locations. There was no sign, no recording, no email, no mention when I made the appointment that they were

Dr Barbee and her Staff are simply amazing. My PCP previous to Dr Barbee, was my only Dr, post my active Naval Service (>25yrs). It was a sad day to see him retire, but finding Dr Barbee and having her care for my well being for myself and my family is simply a blessing in every sense. I am very happy with my new PCP as I highly recommend her practice to anyone.

I used to love this office. Since they sold, and now that everyone is either related or hired because they are personal friends, this office has taken a dive. Even my nurse practitioner left the office. First, they never call back. Secondly, getting a referral is the biggest nightmare ever. They say they will send it and they don't. Thirdly, when the referral is finally sent, it is incorrect. Once, I had to ask for the referral, then for the referral to be corrected six times. This caused constant delays in very important appointments that I needed in a timely manner. The only way I could get it
