I made an appointment online and received a confirmation email. I texted (imessage, which stated my messages were delivered) AND called number provided on the website SEVERAL TIMES throughout the day of my appointment (and emailed the email address provided twice) - I received no response. My appointment time came and went with a no show and no communication at all! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE customer service! Book someone else if you need a tan for an event, I learned the hard way.

Karissa is super nice, and she explained to me exactly how the tanning procedure works, which was good since this was my first time getting a spray tan at home. She was prompt, super polite, and helped me feel comfortable with my first one! I would do this again, and I love the results. I am a very fair person, so this tan looks natural, not orange. It looks like I had a nice week in Hawaii.

I am from Carmel-by-the-Sea... we haven't seen the sun for most of the summer! It was perfect timing that I met Karissa! And her Mobile Tanning. She came to my place & was a I worried about the wood floors.
I had nothing to worry about her equipment is top quality & she is very Professional. I asked for a Medium Tan and it was perfect ! I feel so much lighter and healthy. Just because of a tan! it has uplifted my spirits from such a drizzly, foggy Summer in Carmel. And she is affordable and does package ( which is good because the tan last 2 to 3 weeks) And uses only Organic ! Extra

Karissa was great! She came in, set up her equipment, sprayed me, and left all within about 15 minutes! She couldn't have been nicer or more knowledgeable about spray tanning. The tan turned out great! And I'm an avid spray tanner for many years now so I know my stuff on the subject! Her price point is also very reasonable for coming to your home, $60. She was a bit late for our appointment but she kept me updated on her status which was much appreciated, and lets face it, its hard to stay on time with mobile services anyway! I will definitely recommend her services to all my friends

Sent her an email and left a voicemail. She texted back to reschedule for 4 days later. Send her a text the evening before to confirm. She texted back saying yes. No show!
Do not waste your time, especially if you are tanning for a special occasion. She might be good if she actually showed up, but that is kind of key to running a business.

1 week later and my spray tan looks PERFECT! Karissa came at 8:00 on a Sunday morning and worked her magic in my living room. It could be quite disconcerting to disrobe in front of someone you just met, but Karissa instantly put me at ease. I have very fair skin and she mixed the perfect color - it looks amazing!! I've had so many spray tans and this is by far the best. I was afraid of being orange after rinsing, but the color was perfect and looked very natural.
I love the convenience of having her come to my home and wouldn't hesitate to use her again.

This a VERRRY late post! Sorry karissa if you read this. So I was going on a bachelorette trip to Vegas and I always wanted to try tanning since there will be a lot of pool parties that weekend. I contacted karissa online on a Saturday morning and I received a call same day to get a spray tan on Sunday. Great and easy communication. She texted me the address to the location--nice area and easy parking.
When I first met Karissa easy going and she explained the process as I have never had a spray tan before. Also FYI my skin color is pale and as much as I go in the sun I do not get tanned. She recommended

Karissa is the owner and she is super nice and easy to work with. I had to get a spray tan before a photoshoot and she was really efficient and made sure it was perfect. She even offered a complimentary touch up job for me the day before the photoshoot in case I wanted to be more tan. The whole process was quick and easy and she made me feel very comfortable. Her prices are very affordable too! Thanks Karissa!

Bay Area Tan was just what I was looking for. I wanted a quick, simple tan and a lot of the other places I researched had 5+ different packages and things and I couldn't tell what I would be paying extra for. On top of her reasonable prices the website was clear and easy to navigate unlike those of other tanning salons.
After rinsing, I am so happy with my tan! I was afraid of being orange but Karissa did an amazing job. I felt comfortable and she seemed very knowledgeable on the process and products involved and it shows in the tan. I am definitely going back to her and telling all my friends

LOVE LOVE LOVE my tan!! A few months ago I went to get a spray tan from some salon and I was not satisfied at all. It was obvious my tan was fake and it started looking bad on my skin. I recently decided to give spray tans another chance and I ended up going to Karissa. I'm so happy I gave it another chance because I love my tans from her! I literally go to her every time I have any occasion coming up. People are constantly complimenting me telling me how nice my tan looks. A few people have even asked if I got it naturally from laying out by the pool. On top of all that, I love how flexible

She started off with a great consultation, checking out the tone of my skin in order to insure that she would pick the correct tone for me. She also asked a few questions about how I tan in the sun and if I have any rough spots or rashes she should be aware of. I thought this was great as a lot of spray technicians will just jump right in there treating your skin the same as anyone else.
She worked quickly but was extremely thorough

Karissa did a great job! She was very thorough with the spray and paid closest attention to those hard to reach spots. She accommodated what kind of tan (fair, medium, or dark) you want so she applies the perfect shade for your skin type. I'll definitely see her again for another tan, and recommend her to my friends in the San Jose area.
