If you need an instant spray tan for a vacation, or you want to build up a base tan. This is the place. It's always clean and ready when I walk in. Sonia and Jason are great and are good at setting up a beginning tanner. I've also been using their red light therapy bed. It also offers teeth whitening, but I haven't tried that...yet.

This place is freaking amazing!!! I would recommend this salon to everyone!! Sol Tan is hands down, by far the best salon I've ever been to, (aside from my salon back home). I live in So Cal but I've been working in the Oakland area for about 4 months now, so needless to say I was beyond ecstatic when I came across this gem. Sonia and Jason are so kind and down to earth...they're AMAZINGLY AWESOME!! When you go, you must try out "The Matrix"... all I can say is My O My....im in LoVe!! Haha

Jason and Sonia are perhaps the most incredible entrepreneurs we have yet to encounter in this place we call Silicon Valley. One of the most beautiful and customized facility's we have ever been to. We absolute love the decor, culture and the level of personalized service that goes into Sol Tan and all it's incredible amenities. Highly recommend for all cosmetic and tanning needs from teeth whitening to spray tan and infrared therapy. Can't wait to witness the growth within this well-managed, yet corporate-feel environment.

I never write reviews but when I do I make sure to express my experience. This salon is amazing not only do they have the latest tanning & spa equipment but they also provide some new infrared Fitslim treadmills that make you burn calories quicker. Sonia the owner has treated me so well since I signed up and she explained every single process of the service they offer to me like no other. The salon is very nice and clean and sanitized which makes me feel super safe & comfortable. This salon won't let you down so make sure you drop in if you are in the need for some self care :)

I bought a bundle in 2019 and went once. Then COVID happened and they had to pause service.
Fast forward to 2020 when businesses just started opening back up, and they held a barbecue event in their front parking lot, which I attended. I went in and spoke to Lauren who was working the front desk, as I wanted to check on my bundle balance.
Lauren assured me that my purchase hadn't expired due to the special situation with Covid, so that was great.
Then they shut things down again, and today I received one of their promo texts that they had just reopened.
So I called right away to check my balance

Sol Tan is the only place I will tan. Jason, the Owner is not only helpful, knowledgable and personable/friendly but is truly invested in the happiness and wellness of his clients. Cleanliness is so important and not only does Jason achieve this but far exceeds any expectations that I have. The front desk staff is friendly and welcoming, the clients warm and the business extremely well ran with heart and intention. I went to Sol Tan with high hopes because of the great reviews and was definitely a bit disappointed.
The owner is very nice and friendly and the facilities are big and have multiple beds.
That being said, the cleanliness of this place is not ideal. If i'm going to be laying naked on a bed i would love to know that it's been cleaned and I definitely didn't get the vibe.

Came across Sol tan on Yelp had lots of good reviews, so gave them a call. Nicole picked up phone and answered all my questions that I had. She is very helpful and honest. Recommended what would be best for me as a first time getting a spray time. I told her I would be there in 15 -20 minutes. Nicole greeted me with the best customer service. She went over the whole process with me and showed me step by step what to do. She is the best and best customer service, I also give her 5 stars to and along with the business.

So not so funny story: in an effort to get a nice base tan before my trip to Vegas, I sat out by my pool 3-4x in the past two weeks. What ended up happening is that my back and front were nicely tanned and then the sides of my body were pretty much untouched by the sun. (Think marshmallow sandwiched between two graham crackers) So in a desperate attempt to fix this I found Sol through yelp!

I have been to many tanning salons and this one is my favorite. The customer service is by far the best I have ever experienced in a place like this. A small business run by the woman that owns it! The tanning machines are kept updated and very clean. One of the only places I have ever been to that actually has eye protection available for anyone that comes in. Usually they make you buy those things. As for the pricing, it is in line with everything else in the Bay Area. They have several levels of tanning beds and pricing is dependent upon what level you choose. Overall, I find it to be a good

The costumer service is good, very polite. They keep it nice and clean but a nightmare in regards to pricing. Just moved to the area and decided to do what I always do and scope the nearest grocery stores, GYM's and of course Tanning salons just to name a few. I stopped by this place and paid a whopping $18 for a mid grade single tan..... and looking at their monthly and yearly prices... I understand rent is very high in this area, but I still found it rather absurd. But hey if you can afford it go for it.
