I'm Kathryn and I am a master certified tanning artist and licensed esthetician providing spray tans to the beautiful people of San Jose, California. For years, I have had a passion for the beauty industry and with each passing day my passion has grown stronger. I love my job, and I love what I can do for people.
We all want to achieve that stunning glow that comes from a day at the beach or the pool, but there are just too many health risks associated with soaking up all of those UV rays, not to mention the wrinkles, dark spots and other not-so-pleasant effects of too much sun exposure on your skin. And tanning booths can do even more damage to your skin and put your health at risk.
Please Note: there will be an additional charge for any services delivered outside of San Jose. When it comes to skin care, making sure that you're using the best products for your skin possible is of the utmost importance. Products that are all natural, non-animal tested, and safe are what you're looking for, and this applies to your makeup, moisturizer, your lotion, perfume, etc.
Spray Tan by Kathryn is one of the most beneficial ways to get the flawless bronzed glow you want without the harmful effects of UV sun exposure and tanning beds. Skin that is overexposed to the sun or UV is far more prone to sunburn, skin conditions, premature aging and most ominously, skin cancer.
Rinse with water only, this is very important! Do not use hands to help remove solution, it will stain your hands! Do not wash hair as the soap from shampoos and conditioners will affect your tan. Rinse until the water runs clear. If there is any remaining solution on the skin after you shower, use a damp towel and rub until solution is removed.

Kathryn is AMAZING. I don't get spray tans often, but when I do, I make sure to book them with Kathryn. She is so kind and efficient! She takes her time and I always leave feeling like I got the best service possible. She answers all my questions and makes sure I'm fully comfortable with the plan before starting. I was referred to Kathryn by one of my clients and was in love from the first day. Kathryn right away made me feel so comfortable. She greeted me when I arrived and was on time. I should have posted this review months ago. Spray Tan by by Kathryn was the best I've ever had. I had a cruise last September. Kathryn applied an express tan because I have olive toned skin and prefer a deeper tan. The result was fantastic! I was away for almost 30 days and my tan held up beautifully. I don't lay out in the sun at all. It wasn't necessary because Kathryns tan application was top notch. So save your skin from harmful sun tanning and get your spray tan by Kathryn. I highly recommend!

Before any event I am here and the results are always gorgeous. Kathryn is the biggest sweetheart and has such talent to make sure she gets every inch of you layered perfectly. The tan last SO LONG (obviously take care of it with lotion and not too much hot water/hot tubs/etc) and looks good even while fading. I've also never felt more comfortable naked in front of someone hahah also her prices are very very reasonable!
As long as I live in the bay area I will keep coming here. Thank you for everything Kathryn!!!

I read all the reviews on this place and i thought hmmm maybe it is good let me come here instead of the spray tan place i already know does a good job (due to parking i wanted a new place ) i come in and i told the person i wanted to be medium tan and she said okay and i told her i usually don't get as dark on my face as my body because of my face makeup . She said what do you mean, i was confused because being a tan expert i would think she would know what I'm asking of her . So she asked do you need a different color for your face or what do you want me to do . I told her just a lighter

I did not have to search hard to find this GEM! Kathryn and her husband were so helpful with my questions in regards to booking my apt. She was honest, thorough, professional and so friendly. Kathryn provides the greatest service from beginning to end. She uses high quality products, is detailed yet quick, and I walk out with such a great tan that I walk around feeling like a movie star for the next week.
I went to see Kathryn for my first spray tan EVER a year ago and have now gone 4 times since then. She makes me feel comfortable each time I go with a warm welcome and takes the time to answer any questions I have.

Let me start by saying spray tans are not usually my thing. I hate the smell, the color rubbing off everywhere and just feeling sticky all night, but the worst is when it starts to fade and you get all spotty. Tanning beds as we all know are not the business either, you know skin cancer, wrinkles and all.
