City Pizzeria

Delicious! This place has the best dough I've ever had- seriously. Everything is good here. I get it delivered and it's always fast and hot. Super quality pizza, they don't skimp on toppings. The calzones are to die for- I like the cheese one, mozzarella and ricotta I think. The sub sandwiches are also stellar.
I've ordered from here lots of times and I figured it's time to review it for you folks. You won't be disappointed.

Being from NYC this is as close as it gets to pizza from home very consistent. Thank you City Pizzeria!

Been there for sandwiches simce my last review, and the last couple times they were just OK and a bit dry. I noticed the last time I was there no one including the cook is wearing a mask, so I'm going to pass for now. With outbreaks the way they are even with vaccinations it seems to not be a very good idea. That's their prerogative I suppose, but I won't be sending business there

Love their pizza and their chicken tenders and fries. Stuart is very nice and welcoming. Always ordering take out here. Great city spot.

I was in downtown to see a show at the House of Blues and parked a couple blocks away at a free street spot. Walking down the street I crossed this spot which I have seen a countless number of times before. I stopped in to grab a little bite before the show. The pizza was ok. The service was pretty bad though. I kept being stared at by staff as if I was an alien for no good reason. When my slices came out I asked the man if I could get some cheese and pepper shakers. He rudely nodded his head and grunted toward the window rather than simply using his words, it was my first time visiting. The food

Not sure where they get the balls charging almost $4 for a plain slice. This isn't nyc, this is san diego. Lets be realistic with the price point. Go to Krisp on 8th and get a slice 2x as big, with more/better toppings.

Average, slightly overpriced. Salad is a let down -- pepperoni pizza is your best bet. Can't eat more than a couple of slices as it's very fatty.

Great thin crust pizza, available by the slice. Lots of sandwiches to pick from, i haven't tried those yet.

This place has the best slice I've had since I was in New York. Tremendously good pizza. Quick service. Seek this place out, you won't leave hungry or dissatisfied.

Stopped to grab a beer. Sat for 5 minutes before I saw anybody. Guy came out twice and ignored me. The other two people at the bar pointed me out to him, but he couldn't be bothered. Worst experience ever. 6:00 on 7/28. Fire that guy.

Really disappointed. The online pickup ordering did not work off their website. I called to put in my order of a two item cheese pizza with their white sauce instead of their red sauce. Apparently subtracting the red sauce was considered an extra item. I was charged for a three item pizza that was $3 more than the online menu indicated based on their third party ordering site of "Beyond Menu". If the pizza was incredible, I would not have cared. However it was bland. The two items were pushed towards the center and not much of them to begin with. Dry flat crust.

For a place that claims to support police officers sure don't know how to be welcoming to one, or people in general! They don't greet, barely any eye contact, we walked out and usually as business owners, they will thank you as you walk out or say have a good day, but nope! This guy just stood by the register as we walked by and stood there in silence watching us leave lol. It's very uncomfortable being there but we just needed a quick bite to eat with the kids that didn't have a wait. They have a pizza special they don't advertise 11.99 one item and depends on the person taking the order. Crust is dry and bland. Days open are a mystery.

We live nearby and this is our go-to pizza spot! We love getting the "dinner for two" deal - medium pizza, two salads, two sodas. It's a great deal. We also love the chicken parm sandwich, calzones, and haven't had an appetizer we didn't enjoy. Everything is always made fresh, but there's also pizza by the slice available to grab and go. Didn't feel like going out to eat on Valentine's Day and ordered some pizza and wings. We ordered the large BBQ Chicken pizza and the order of the chicken wings. The food was ordered through Grubhub. The food got to me within the hour, which is normal for 3rd party delivery. The pizza was a traditional crust, but not doughy but was fairly flat and nicely baked for a tasty and crispy crust. This place rocks! The delivery is awesomely contagious . I will say there the most decadent ingredients are placed in their pizza. I totally love the meat lovers , which is perfect beyond belief. I'm a lover of Itallian cuisine and this place gets a 5 Star rating from me. If I can hold back from ordering the pizza next time I would love to try their pasta ! I'm a real fan of pasta. Meat sauce is my type with lots of parmigiana.

A standard pizza-sandwich-salad place. There's a large seating/bar area inside, with a small patio area in front. Service is fine and pretty quick. Pizza-wise, you can order a whole, or get a special with slices and a soda. There were a few varieties available, I chose the margherita and a pepp/mushroom. Although the pizza has a nice chewy crust, there seemed to be something lacking in the flavor department for both, probably the sauce on each. The pizza is okay, it's not perfection, but it could be.

Seriously?!?

This was my second visit as it is close to work so since the first time it was amazing I figured I'm going to order (late lunch to go) which was literally 20 minutes ago.

Until I got back to the office I realized I was given a burnt pizza and he never mentioned it or said hey sorry let me get you another one.

I basically paid $3.50 (plus tip) for a burnt slice!!!
