My family and I have been coming here for quite some time now, and it truly feels like home when we come in. Every member of the staff is welcoming and kind, and the food is unmatched. We always get the margarita pizza and the calamari, and it never disappoints. The happy hour couldn't be better and I know that when we come here we will leave happy!

Great pizza, pizza edges were burned, but I didn't mind. Inside needs to serious cleaning. We sat down next to the wall; we saw pizza pieces and dust everywhere. We sat down at the table, and it wasn't clean, and we had to call our host. Service pretty slow; it wasn't busy. They're friendly but slow service and dirty place, good food. Price is not really cheap.

The best pizza. my bf recently told me about this place and we've been here a few times together. I was a hardcore Buena Forchetta fan but now Pummaro is the best pizza I believe and I'm happy I made the switch. I took my family to Pummaro and they loved the Caprese as well as their pizzas. I also enjoyed a class of Point Gnior wine along with my grandma. amazing to take family and it's very dim lit for a romantic setting as well. Thank you to our server who is always in a great mood.

It's an enjoyable time at Pummaro. You never feel like just a customer, more like family and friends. The food is delicious and the service is outstanding. Katia is always a pleasure to see and speak with. She truly brings warmth to the atmosphere. I recommend Pummaro whenever you're in the Point Loma or surrounding SD area.

Simply the best gluten free pizza crust I have ever had. I had the spicy salami pizza which had just the right blend of spice and flavor. All the ingredients on the pizza were very fresh and delicious. My friends had the Penne Amatriciana and selvaggia pizza on regular crust and really enjoyed them as well. Highly recommend pummaro to anyone and I will be back on a regular basis.

We wanted to order out pizza before we headed out to watch the sunset at Sunset Cliffs. Margherita Pizza hit the spot! Loved it. We also ordered a side of calamari and it was a massive amount of calamari, arugula, along with marinara dipping sauce. The flavors married together perfectly.

My family and I came here after my (surprise) proposal and Katia was the SWEETEST server I have had in a long time. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was lively. The food was also the quickest order to table I think I've ever experienced, and delicious to boot! When they heard we were here because my fiancé and I had just gotten engaged, they brought out a very special dessert to celebrate with us, on the house. This place very quickly moved from just restaurant, to tradition for us. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, this is the worst pizza I've had in many years. Crust is chewy, sauce is tasteless, and the meat balls look and taste as if they come from a can of Chef Boyardee (total crap). The Mexican staff is completely clueless about Italian food.

I wish the would be consistent with the toppings instead of throwing whatever extra they have in that day.
If you stick with basic cheese it's fine.
It worth going for take out. Not thrilled with the rest of the menu.
Unfortunately the the place itself is very unappealing. It's dirty and divey looking.
It's not pleasant to eat in a grubby looking place so we get it pizza to go.

We were home after a long day and didn't feel like going out, so it was time to order pizza! This is not your average pizza place, but more of a specialty pizza place with lots of interesting personal pizzas. There was lots on the menu, but my husband and I each chose our pizzas. I ordered a regular pepperoni pizza from here and is was outstanding. The ingredients were fresh. The crust was thin and cooked perfectly.
My only warning is that you will get the same "5-to-10" minute promise for your pick up order to be ready several times. I just don't know why restaurants can't just be honest and say "sorry, it'll be another 20 minutes." But. alas, they don't.
