If possible to put 0 star I will put it. Very bad small rooms they cheat you by photos when you come you realize the real hotel is like you are in Ho chi minh Vietnam window size is approximately 2f by 4ft looking. No enough lights in bathroom. Shower like in 1950s. I can't understand people who put 5 stars for this hotel. Only stuff is very gentle and kind.

If you are looking for a hotel in Washington D.C. try the Morrison-Clark Historic Inn! We loved every bit of our stay. Wonderful staff, clean, comfortable, cozy and quiet room, and amazing service! Stayed for two nights, enjoyed the breakfast menu, and loved their Asian inspired decorations. A true gem and we will be back! #morrisonclarkhistoricinn

This is the worst service I ever experienced. I booked a hotel room with Hotwire then I called to confirm my reservation I was told that my reservation was for the next but some Africa said she would convert it for tonight. When I got their she said She needed my credit card for incidentals and to pay for parking. When I Try to use my credit card the next day my card was maxed out the hotel had charged me for 2 extra nights And ignore the hot wire reservation. When I told they make a mistake and needed to refund my money I was then I was accused by David Gonzalez of lying and did not except thier

Another great visit to DC.
This historic boutique hotel is fantastic.
Centrally located to restaurants, monuments, memorials and museums.
Only a few short blocks from the Metro; likewise, Union station is a brief ride away.

Desk concierges are courteous and professional.
Accommodating guests is their strength.
Thank you Erin (sic) and Denia.

Rooms are highly variable in size, layout and view - but all are spotlessly clean and supremely comfortable.
The housekeeping and maintenance teams get a special mention: they are polite, uninvasive and the bathroom and bedrooms are so clean, they&apos

This place is rich in history and simply beautiful! The stay was amazing and exceeded my expectations. The guest service that all the employees displayed made the stay even more appealing. This hotel offers a bar that serves a nice mix of wine, beer and cocktail options. There is a outside patio area that is perfect to sit and have cocktails, conversation or just to get some fresh air and take in the beauty. The hotel does offer a full dine in restaurant, but I did not eat here on this visit. The hotel decor goes hand in hand with it's story and history. Morrison- Clark Historic Inn is a great

I don't know why there are so many just so-so reviews for this place. The outside of the building is partly from back in the 1800's but walking into the lobby you're well up to date.

Our room had two spacious separate areas - a sitting room with sofa and tv, and a doorway into the queen size bedroom. Double doors in that room led the fairly large bathroom.

We had a very good breakfast in their dining room and paid less than similar meals in other hotels.

It's about 3 blocks from the nearest Metro stop. And at a very competitive price, we'll be staying here again

Very nice boutique hotel near the Marriott Marquis and convention center. Rooms are super clean and stylish. Staff is very professional. Price was reasonable for location and how nice the property is but not "cheap". When I checked in with Yelp I got a free drink coupon (yea!). LOVE the (free) coffee setup in the lobby in the morning as this is one of my pet peeves; hotels should offer free coffee to guests in the morning. You have to walk-up a flight of stairs to get in front entrance so not sure if it's a handicap accessible property. My first time here I walked right by and didn

Horrible. I was first crammed into what felt like a dusty old add on over the main entrance. I couldn't find it because of the maze like layout and zero wayfinding signage. The front desk clerk barely spoke English and couldn't help me - apart from patronizing laughter and telling me I'm young. He escorted me the second time around 6 turns and OUTSIDE across a terrace, where this room was tacked on above the bar courtyard.

Loud talking and music at night are all you hear in this dank hovel. The carpets are stained and the room looks like it was also cleaned in the dark by someone

Nice hotel! Loved the courtyard and customer service. Tola was a great receptionist when my girlfriend and her brother checked in. Great location in the heart of DC. Everything is pretty close together for walking. Love it!

Enjoyed a lovely quiet dinner with a friend on a Friday night. Excellent service with a good menu. I chose the Chicken Fried Trout and my friend chose to get a salad with chicken added. My plate was artfully laid out with the trout served on top of Brussels sprouts. Small half round of potatoes were arranged on top of a flan. So pretty.

The avocado slices on her plate were so lovely. The salad greens cane wrapped in a thin thin flatbread with julienned radish underneath, goat cheese and beets on the other side. Beautiful presentation.
Desert was the apple cobbler served with salted caramel

Was in town for a few days for a board meeting and the food here at the hotel is reliably good and convenient. I've had the crab cakes with fried green tomatoes, grilled chicken club and the crab hash. They use really good crab and they didn't skimp on the portions. The crab cakes are huge and have very little filler, so you definitely get your money's worth. They are lightly seasoned as well so the crab flavor really comes out (can you tell I liked the crab! ) I really dug the fresh lima beans. The fried green tomatoes were lovely and wished I had more of those instead of the potatoes

This hotel is in a great location, surrounded by restaurants and even a CVS. Within walking distance to the national Mall. The rooms are lovely but a little small (at least our corner room was), staff is nice. Brunch was pretty delicious. And they even have unlimited mimosas available! We did have a housekeeping barge in on us when we first get there, but she didn't make it around the corner and we were given an early check in. So it wasn't that big of a deal! All in all, I would stay again!

4 star hotel. Beautiful hotel and very fancy room and bathroom.

Highly recommend. Two blocks from convention center. Walking distance to downtown and Chinatown.

Parking spaces around premise or you can valet with the hotel.

Tip: try A Baked Joint that's about a ten minute walk from the hotel. The best dirty chai and breakfast biscuit in town.

Tip: if it rains, you can ask them to borrow an umbrella!

I walk past this hotel daily on my way to/from work but had never really noticed it until my boyfriend suggested it would be a fun place for a staycation in the city, and I'm so glad he did. The front desk had learned we were celebrating an anniversary and gave us a warm welcome with free upgrade (even checking to see if their carriage house was open).

The room itself was clean and well decorated. Many reviews have complained about the lack of views, but this is a six-story hotel in the middle of DC...don't go here for views. Instead go here to enjoy some quiet, the excellent black-out

What a beautiful hotel and equally gorgeous restaurant! Ate here with a large group, so we got to try a multitude of things. The lobster grilled cheese, salmon with crab gnocchi, and fries are all bomb (especially loved the trio of dipping sauces that came with the fries when you order them as an appetizer, as well as the presentation in little mini fry baskets.) The burger was just okay, and the mushroom arancini appetizer had a bit of a weird flavor.

Our servers were very friendly and accommodating, minus one weird hiccup where we asked for more of the aforementioned dipping sauces for the

I had an amazing time checking out this place with a group and we were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves by the time we ordered and food came out. Stopped in for lunch and was definitely the right choice.

Ordered a bunch of different starters and plates for the table before putting in individual orders and I literally loved it all. The fries you can order come with some amazing dipping sauces, and we were heartbroken to realize the fries that come out with your entrees don't include the sauce. I ended up going with the Lobster Grilled cheese and boy was that thing sinful. Buttery

This review is for the Morrison-Clark Historic Inn's Restaurant.

As a guest at a nearby hotel, I got a little bored with the breakfast options offered, so I decided to give the restaurant at the Morrison-Clark in a try! I went over and was greeted by friendly staff and directed to dining area. The first thing I noticed was how gorgeous the dining area was! It was beautiful with chandeliers, fireplaces, cloth tables, and ornate dishware.

The breakfast menu was small, but I've noticed a lot of places in D.C. have small menus. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon and no English
