Those are the 3 words that come to mind after our first experience working with JP Automotive. We have been through hell with Honda - receiving 3 DIFFERENT diagnoses ranging in cost from $900-$2,500. Turns out, as we suspected, none of Honda’s assessments were truthful or accurate. The team at JP Automotive gave us an honest assessment - and fixed the problem at a fraction of what Honda was trying to charge us. They communicated constantly and I can’t thank them enough for their honesty, professionalism, and the quality of their work. Highly recommend to anyone in need of assistance with fixing

I stopped coming here for a bit because pandemic stress/I needed the ability to schedule appointments online and they were still phone only. Well, after several misfires I decided to go back to where I know people will not rip me off and came back. They now have an online appointment request form which is pretty easy to navigate and I got my request approved quickly, which isn't an easy feat as they are always busy. They still offer the same amenities (coffee, hand sanitizer) and touchpads/keyless drop off for COVID-19 compliance.

Even the front desk guy is nice to talk to!! First time going there and was treated with respect and in a timely manner with my oil change. They truly do understand how to conduct business. Not just your local Autozone who doesn't really care. They care.

Came in for emissions. Staff was informative, the guy who serviced my car I believe the form said his name is Elvis was very personable and friendly! Overheard them giving advice and they know what they're talking about! May be back for services in the future because of this experience!

I'm only reviewing based off emissions testing. I've been coming here for at least 10 years for Emissions tests for both of my cars. This is the only place to go. Everyone is so friendly and they have you in and out in no time. I don't even live in North Haven and make it a point to come here. Excellent A ++++

So I've never used this repair shop before. I went there because they honor My GWC car warranty insurance. I thought I had a leaking brake fluid issue, come to find out I did not after they ran their pressure test on my brake system ( I was misreading my brake reservoir ) So that was good news... What was even better news was when I asked how much I owed them They said you're all set We'll catch you the next time !!! Thanks Mike !! Your the best !! And you've got two new customers for life Thank you so much !!

Excellent and very professional service. After I scheduled my appointment for a tune up on my car, I received a text message confirming the date and time of my appointment.
I was able to drop my car off the night before using a secure drop box to leave my keys, which I found convenient.
While my car was there, the mechanic called and told me that I didn't actually need a tune up! The most important thing that I needed to have done was having the power steering flushed.
They did a fantastic job. I even got a Mist air filter, which helps eliminate molds, pollen, and even Covid-19.

This is a great service by Yelp. Who would have thought to review a service you must depend upon for your safety and comfort. Found this shop about three years ago after an expensive repair at Audi. Here we have a family run business that cares about their customers as much as they care about their reputation. It is hard to find people who take pride in doing the best they can do. I trust these guys and I trust their craftsmanship.

Awesome repair shop. My car's air conditioning wasn't working right so I brought it in on a Monday morning without an appointment. The owner, John, was kind enough to drive me back to my house while my car was being worked on. After two hours, he called and gave me a fair estimate on how much it'd cost to fix and an hour later the car was ready to be picked up. The air works better than it has in years and I'm excited to have it for the upcoming summer heat. I couldn't have asked for more pleasant experience and I will be sure to bring my car back for any other issues that

Amazing place! I highly recommend JP Automotive! If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. I moved from California to Connecticut a few years ago and have tried a couple different mechanics. JP Automotive is by far the best! They always remember me when I come in and treat me with respect. I'm a young woman and sometimes I worry that mechanic shops may take your lack of knowledge of cars and try to tell you that you need unnecessary repairs (this has happened to me once before in the past), but JP Automotive is 100% honest, reliable, timely and respectful to all customers! Saw the good ratings on Yelp, didn't want to go to a big box garage. Came in for basic brake fluid flush and switching my summer tires/wheels to winter tires/wheels, plus an alignment.
They broke the lug nut key, initially over charges for the brake fluid flush, and forgot to rotate the tires (put on the winter tires with more tread on the non-drive wheels). I checked tread depth before driving away. When I came back so they could rotate the tires, which I had paid for, they couldn't get one of the wheels off because the nut was over tightened!
4 hours later I'm still here. Imagine

John is an incredibly honest man and a very knowledgeable mechanic. I have always been treated respectfully by him and by his staff.
