Info Restrictions: All drivers must be 16 years old with a valid driver's license and someone present thats 18 or older to co-sign forms. Passengers must be at least five years old to enjoy this tour. These boats are not only fast and dry but comfortable and easy to drive. Each tour starts with detailed instructions on boater operation and safety before embarking on one of several tour routes throughout Hilton Heads expansive backcountry.
The boat can carry 2 adults comfortably and that is our most common situation. However, if you have an odd number group, we have 1 boat that can sit a total of 3 people as long as total weight is under 400 pounds. In most situations a 3 person boat would be an adult and 2 children. The guided boat tours are 2:15-2:30 minuets long.
My name is Jeff Gale and I am the founder of Island Skiff Adventure Tours. I grew up on the island since moving here form the Florida keys in the mid 90's. My family started a fishing business back then and that's where you would find me on the weekends and every summer. I left after high school with a plan to never return but in 2017 I came back with my wife and kids from Massachusetts and never regretted the risk!

Dunkin was an AMAZING tour guide! We had such a great time. He took our picture before we left and even in front of the harbor town lighthouse. We saw a bunch of dolphins. You can’t expect to see a lot because these dolphins don’t plant to meet in the same spot everyday. We had a lot of fun going through the back creek and looking for dolphins. Dunkin did such a great job of explaining how to use the speedboat and finding dolphins! I would definitely come again!

We have gone 5 consecutive years and rented both the skiffs and speedboats. This company is extremely organized, efficient, professional and friendly. There's never been any mix ups, mistakes, etc. You leave the dock as scheduled and the guides are experienced and fun. Every year we see several dolphins, the guides are experts at finding them. Additionally, they have vast knowledge of the surrounding areas, and know their history. This is the perfect addition to any vacation or just a break, for singles, couples or families. Will always recommend them!!

My husband and I had a great time with Hilton Head Speed Boat Tours on 3/19/21! Duncan was a fantastic guide in helping us get settled into our boat, as well as providing some great information about the area on our tour. We did hit some unexpected weather halfway through our tour and got a little wet because of it, but Duncan did everything he could to lead us back to calmer and safer waters. It was an adventurous afternoon cruising around Hilton Head, and we would definitely do it again!

Our family had an incredible time while on our tour with Jeff. We learned so much about the island’s history and wildlife. We have 3 active boys (12,10,8) that were captivated by the dolphins swimming near our boats, the bald eagle taking flight, holding a jelly ball and Jeff’s in-depth knowledge.
