I stayed in one of Summit Vacations’ cabins in the beginning of this month for my Bachelorette trip. We’re all working women — mostly married — so a chill cabin in the woods vibe was the goal.
The cabin was fine enough. Not really worth the money in our opinions, but it served our needs so the first few days were chill.
It was the the third day when it really kicked off.
It was snowing the whole beginning of the week that we were there. By the third day, it stayed so consistently cold that the bottom layer was iced up, compacted underneath the snow. We couldn’t even shovel it by that

We love this house and the location is the best. About a block from main st and has a free shuttle stop right in front. The only thing they need is one more parking space. It does come with parking passes so that is great if you can find a spot. The house has everything you need. The downstairs is the best for kids/teens. We wish the gaming console could be set to not charge! We will for sure book again!

We have had the worst customer service!
The customer service of this rental agency and owner are a bit rediculous.
1. No towels have been received after confirming they would bring them. Cleaning person said they don’t like to leave towels but he would bring but $1 spa towels. Really. You tell customers that. How cheap of an operation you guys really run and not to expect anything but the worst.
2. Stove still broke without anyone addressing
3. Completely ignored the fact the bed was so uncomfortable that we had to purchase our own mattress

There is so much wrong with the way this company is run. Believe all the reviews and go elsewhere. I won a 3 night stay right as covid started. Couldn’t use my offer due to the state shutting down travel. Once it reopened I booked for a long weekend in December 2020 then Summit County made rules where only people in the same household could stay together the week before our stay. My son was in college out of state so he would not be able to stay with us we were made to cancel and book in Eagle County instead. I have the emails where Summit Vacation told me I had a year from the original vacation

If I could choose a 0 testing I would. Summit Vacations still has $1850 of my money, since December 2019, because they refused to reimburse our deposit due to cancelling our trip in May 2020! Our reservations were in July 2020. We were in a global pandemic, but they still have our money! BEWARE ANYONE WHO USES THIS RENTAL COMPANY! I believe they have since changed their reimbursement policy. I wonder how many deposits were kept. This company should be ashamed of themselves. I guess they figured business was being lost so let’s screw as many people as possible. Pandemics cannot be planned for

I drove myself and my parents from Austin, TX for a 5 day 4 night stay at Long Branch 311. You have to figure out where to park. There is no parking lot. They don't give you a map of where you're condo is located. I had to call the office when i got there because the lock-box code they provided didn't work. Of the three keys they provided only one worked.The description of this unit on their website was changed between August 31st and October 1st when we arrived. there was supposed to be a TV in each bedroom but there wasn't. The private grill you can use looked as if it hadn't been cleaned this

If you enjoy your emails being ignored and a business refusing to offer a refund or credit during a worldwide pandemic, Summit Vacation is for you! And by the way, they DO have control over “Airbnb cancellation policies.” The reason I know this is because I reserved another home in Colorado through Airbnb and the host immediately and graciously refunded 100% of my deposit.

After booking was made 3 weeks ahead for a 4-night stay in Breckenridge Colorado, numerous calls to Summit (this management company) just went to their front desk who had absolutely no idea how to handle related issues.
And it is definitely not helped by the Covid restrictions.
Their front desk just kept pushing to their “operations-will-call-back” tactics.
We will never deal with Summit again given a choice.
Those rental properties are ok (so-so) but definitely not the management company - Summit Vacations.
