We have 10+ years experience with swimming pool structural repairs (we know how Dallas pools are built). We use the most specialized and advanced equipment available today to pin-point your water leaks. We warrant our leak detections for 45 days from the day the leak detection is performed provided that our customers approve the necessary repairs to be performed by us.
Blue Science can perform equipment upgrades & repair as needed on all types of inground swimming pools most places in the Dallas area. Quotes over the phone are for a standard installation. Special circumstances will require us to perform a service call to evaluate your pool and make an appropriate quote to fit your needs.

Absolutely horrible pool service. Showed up TWO weeks late to drain and powerwash my pool, then cleaned the filter and failed to prime the pump correctly leading to the water overheating in the pump and rupturing the PVC pipes, which sprayed water all over my pool house ruining about $300 worth of stuff. When i told them about it they charged me $149 to come out and fix what they screwed up. They never adjusted the chemicals correctly nor cleaned the pool after i refilled it and charged me for the service anyway. The pool had algae in it 3 days after they supposedly "adjusted the chems"

The quality of their service can be seen in the attached photos. I'm scheduled for Mondays. It's Thursday and this is now what my pool looks like. No communication from the company about them being behind or anything. After calling, I was told they will have it done by Saturday. So no using my pool until then (algae can feed bacteria than can cause a multitude of issues and is a slipping hazard) and for 4-6 hours after they treat it on a Saturday, during peak pool season. Communication has been horrible with them throughout. Damaged my deck and they told me they would send someone

Horrible experience!
1) Didn't add chlorine but stated they did in their report. This was EVERY week.
2) Failure to check my pump pressure but annotated on their report it was at or close to 20.
3) Charged me for cleaning my filter then caused DE to leak back into my pool.
The last straw was after they performed a backwash they jacked up my valve and REFUSED to fix it without charging me! I had to replace the spider gasket which was less than 4 months old.
In the end I felt they were very dishonest and didn't have my best interest at heart.
I will no longer be using them or recommending

In general, I think pool service companies are generally rated harder than they should be. Mostly people always complain but rarely mention when the work goes well as expected.
But having said that, my issues with Blue Science come down to how they are organized as a company. If things really go south with your pool, it takes months to resolve the issues because of how their company is structured.
I have opened so many tickets and talked their multiple service line managers soooo many times that I finally resulted in logging a BBB complaint. IF someone at the top of the company finally contacts

If you want a great pool company KEEP LOOKING, Is my recommendation! We used them to build our new pool and had nothing but issues. Even today a year and half later we are replacing the grass they put down because it wasn't done correctly and is just mud in our yard. From start to finish the job was half done. Even the monthly pool service is spotty. The frustration never ends.

We use Blue Science Pools, based in Texas, in Orlando. Our pool person, Aaron T. comes from Tampa and is by far the best pool maintenance person we have ever had. Not sure how we got started with a company in Texas, my husband was in charge of that... but I can say Aaron does a very thorough job and provides a detailed Pool Maintenance Report after each visit.
He has a testing kit that covers all areas of concern. Recently, my husband was out of town for extended period, so I got very well versed in all the maintenance, as we also had the pool resurfaced too.

Canceled my service today. I'd been with Blue Science Pools (Dallas) for two and a half years. Right after the horrible winter storm they raised their service fee from $99 to $150. When I called to follow up about getting someone to give me a quote, I was told I was on the list to be called but if I approved the $150 fee right away then I would be scheduled whenever they had time. Waited three more days, no phone call. Called around to two other local companies and they had guys out this week to give me a bid.

Scam company, be aware of fake report card that they send you. Be ready to spend thousands on fake repairs and services.
They sent me fake pictures saying we cleaned your pool but pictures are from old days. I cant really believe they did that to me. I was sitting in my backyard and enjoying the good weather and I received an email and text message that says "Blue Science cleaned your pool, see the pictures" and I was shocked!!! I checked the camera assuming maybe they came earlier, but NO, the images are from when pool looked great. So I checked my security cameras and realized they

Blue Science pool service. 3 weeks using this service for pool cleaning. They promise GPS tracking for their technicians. They leave behind a sheet saying everything that was done.
These pictures were taken right after the technician left. They didn't do anything and been on the phone for 30 minutes waiting for a resolution.
