Tom And Ashley Mitchell, the owners of Buyer's Edge, have over fifteen years experience in the real estate market. Tom, our lead inspector and certified professional inspector, has experience in remodeling, construction, investment and real estate sales. Those experiences give him a unique outlook that is designed to give you the Buyer's Edge.
Our standard home inspection is just that. Standard! We don't trick you into paying more for a "premium" home inspection. Every inspection we do is comparable to the other guys "premium" inspection. We abide by the Standards of Practice for every inspection. We would never feel comfortable offering a discounted home inspection package.
We support and honor all members of services which serve and protect. If you or your spouse have served, are currently serving in any branch of the US military, are first responder, including police, firefighters or medical technicians, we believe the least we can do to give back is to offer you a discount.
A: With the rarest of exceptions our reports are always delivered to our clients the same day as the inspection. We understand real estate transactions are more often than not subject to strict deadlines. Do to this, it is our goal to provide you with your report as soon as possible. Giving you the most time possible to study the report, review with your agent and get any questions you may have from us answered.
We attempt to accept all forms of payments possible. In order to make this process as easy and convenient as possible we do not charge fees for any type of payment. Payment is due upon completion of the inspection. Typically payment is made after the final summary at the inspection to ensure our customers are fully satisfied with our work.

I used Buyer's Edge Home Inspections for a Pre-Purchase home inspection. I actually used them twice - one for a home we walked away from because of the attention to detail we received from Buyer's Edge and then a second that we are closing on next month. I full recommend them. Everyone on the team is fantastic, easy to work with and most importantly thorough.

I learned more about homes in the time he was there inspecting the house we were going to buy than I ever knew about homes before. He answered every question we had, going above and beyond explaining it until we understood it completely. He was very knowledgeable about everything and if we ever have another home inspection we are definitely using him. A++++++++++

I looked at about 5 home inspectors in the local area. Buyer's Edge came through with the lowest price. Not only was it the lowest price, but I found Tom's inspection to be thorough, his explanations easy to understand as we walked through the inspection, and the reports promptly sent to me within 12 hours of the inspection being completed. The reports were also very thorough, very easy to understand, showed me which parts of the home needed to be addressed, which may need to be addressed in the near future, and which were fine as is. I highly recommend.

We had a fantastic experience with Buyer's Edge for our home inspection. Thomas did a thorough inspection and answered any and all questions we had. Being young first time home buyers there are things we are still learning and he took the time to show us things and explain what he was looking for and what the findings meant. Tom was also incredibly patient with our 3 year old daughter who LOVES to talk and ask random questions at exactly the wrong times. He took the time to talk to her and listen to what ever odd-ball topic she felt needed to be discussed and really made her feel like she mattered

The inspector was super friendly and very thorough. He also brought his own shoes to keep my floors and carpet clean while he was going through the house. He gave me really good advice, which I appreciated being a first time home buyer. Also, the cheapest rates that I found out of 5 inspectors in town. My report came back within a few hours of the inspection and was easy to follow and understand. I would highly recommend Thomas Mitchell as your home inspector! You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I had a fantastic Home Inspection experience with Buyer's Edge! Tom was extremely professional and clearly very knowledgeable. He made us feel very comfortable and made it known that we could ask questions at any point. He walked us through his findings/notes and made it very clear and easy to understand.
