Weird experience. Food wasn't great. Mostly disappointed that the $5.50 Kraft Mac n cheese kids meal wasn't even a meal. It was clearly reheated cold mac, no sides included, not even a drink included. We will find a different spot that makes more sense for us.

Walked in the door on this cold morning after a fresh snowfall to be greeted by a bevy of waitstaff, hostesses and others awaiting the morning crowd. It was almost like we were family. I'm sure they were all smiling even though faces were covered with the obligatory masks. I could see it in their eyes. Wonderful hot coffee and a great breakfast of bacon, hashbrowns and scrambled eggs with multi grain toast. It doesn't get any better than that. Oh yes it does, if you order one their many specialty egg dishes like my wife did. Our waitress, MayBeth, is a sweet soul and was very attentive. Thank you

One of my favorite places in wheaton to get breakfast. The service is amazing, the food is even better. They don't sell mimosas so that's a con for me but the flavors make it up for it 😋

Delicious build your own skillets! I ordered for takeout & everything was made well & on time. Highly recommend for a hearty breakfast.

Breakfast place on a main street. They have a huge selection of different dishes. Overall very good experience.

My wife and I went here for a lunch date and ate outside. Lots of options on the menu, and the staff was very friendly and attentive even though we were the only ones outside most of the time.
I got the harvest vegetable skillet with pancakes, and she ordered a chicken sandwich.
We'll definitely be back!

Friendly staff. The owners always come over and say hello. Nice that you can call ahead and put your name on wait list. Always a lot of food. Always enough to take some home. Great job!

Had a lovely breakfast this morning under the tent! Service was quick and superb! I had the Santa Fe frittata which was absolutely delicious! I'm not really a big breakfast person so enjoying my meal as much as I did was a delightful suprise! I chose fruit as my side and the selection was all perfectly ripe and delicious as well. It started pouring at the end and the servers continued in the rain with umbrellas and a smile. Highly recommend!

Wow, first time here - so pleasant outside and so tasty. Had the cinnamon roll French toast. We will be back.

Sunday morning brunch at Egg'lectic had been a ritual for my wife and I for a few years now. Like many, we shied away from restaurants in general during COVID, but were really looking forward to getting back to normal now that restaurants are slowly opening back up and capacity is rising. Now that we're both vaccinated, we were really looking forward to Sunday Brunch on Mother's Day. We got to Egg'lectic early...just a little after 7am, and there was only one other couple in the entire restaurant. At least 6-7 (maybe more) wait staff personnel were sitting around right behind

We love this restaurant so much - great food and beautiful setting! We had the first meeting of our parents when my husband and I were dating and Egg'lectic. Both parents grew up on dairy farms and your beautiful farm mural in your dining room was the perfect place for our families to meet for the first time. The food is outstanding and lots of choices for everyone. Our favorite place for breakfast and lunch.

They are trying the best that they can under impossible and unpredictable circumstances. People need to give restaurants a break. They have to deal with less staff, new restrictions, take out and tables down the block... all totally new issues. I hope people will continue to frequent these privately owned businesses which give our communities so much personality.

Right in the heart of downtown Wheaton. They have a huge tent outside for dine in that has around 10-15 tables, a few outside the tent also. The staff is friendly and nice. They give your condiments in little plastic containers with covers. Their corned beef hash skillet is pretty good and it comes with pancakes. Their portions are large and you leave feeling very full and with leftovers!

Egg'lectic on Hale Street in downtown Wheaton is a family owned breakfast and lunch place. Good food, good service and reasonable prices. We like to grab a table outside and people watch.

The food was great! However, they need faster service. Spent 20 mins waiting on drinks, then another 20 for someone to take our order, and it ended up not being our original server. After that, food came out hot and was great, but for a rainy Sunday with not many people out the service was WAY too slow. Not super impressed

I shouldn't have to remind the wait staff that I like my food hot. It should just come that way. But it doesn't here. I ordered a make my own scramble. It comes out like a big egg pancake. Not what I was anticipating. Presentation is important and it gets low marks here. I think my breakfast tasted good but it was too cold to tell. Makes me sad because we liked this place.

Has been a staple breakfast place in my family for years. Amazing service and has a family vibe to it. Food is great and well priced. Highly recommend!

If you don't mind mostly packaged food being served to you at lukewarm temperatures, then you may like this place. When there are so many breakfast restaurants to choose from, this place really needs to up their game.

There was available seating inside the restaurant, but I couldn't see anyone eating inside. Downtown Wheaton has done a great job providing large tents down the entire street for the restaurants to serve their patrons. It's very open an airy and makes eating out during this virus pandemic a little easier to deal with. Kudos to Wheaton for shutting down the streets

Recently ordered food for delivery, got it an hour late, live close to restaurant too. Food was soggy and cold. Reviewing here because per grub hub as long as I receive the food I cannot give a refund. Also I ordered 2 cappuccinos that never arrived- per grub hub the restaurant did not give them to the driver. Don't order for delivery from this restaurant.

Decided to swing by this place for breakfast. We walked in and saw there was a wait but we were assured it would move quickly. This was good to hear because our 18 month old son was very sleepy and we were holding him while waiting. A few people had arrived before us and were waiting to be be seated but the staff sat us first because we had a baby. This was a nice gesture and much appreciated. They say us in a corner and by a window which was very nice.

You want to go here for breakfast, for sure. You're kind of surprised at first at all the really interesting choices for breakfast. Usually when you go out to eat, there are one or two things that look appealing on the menu. Here you have a tough time choosing between 5 or 6. It has a great location, great decor, and the staff are super friendly and helpful.

Great friendly service, food is always good. We're vegetarian so they always will make adjustments to their menu. Wish they had a little more options without meat but that's okay! We love our Sunday's here.
Only getting four stars because they don't have too many vegetarian options.

A wonderful spot! Great attentive service, quick food, great tasty dishes. Large menu! Great decor and clean, but homey.
