Many water exposed devices, especially those only recently damaged, can be revived after thorough drying and cleaning of the internal parts and, in most cases, a battery replacement. Yes, many manufacturers do not authorize third-party repairs and will void the device warranty. A common exception is a screen repair of an Apple iPhone which will not void your warranty.
Many common repairs, including screen replacements and batteries, are completed within 5-10 minutes of check-in. Heavily damaged devices may require a longer turnaround. All repairs and device sales include a 30-day warranty against defects in parts replaced. It does not cover any subsequent damage to the phone or components that were not replaced.

I took my grand daughter’s water soaked Apple Mac air to HTG to see if it could be restored to service. Unfortunately there was too much damage. But in the process the guys went the extra mile in their efforts that included an extensive water treatment process and the replacement of a number of large and small components. Considering their time and effort and component swap outs, they only charged a small diagnostic fee. They were also totally professional and kept me informed as they worked.
They certainly have earned my future business. Definitely 5 star service for a very reasonable price

Edit to add: they do not stand by their work. They have fixed some great things for us and those repairs sometimes needed a tweak (like they sent home things too loose or whatever) but they were always happy to do a an adjustment on work. The first time the repair just did not work, they did not honor their repair and tried to blame it on us through a variety of ridiculous means. Their communication has also gone WAY down. I had to call many times to get updates on my device. Bottom line, the repair did not work and was brought to their attention within the "warranty" period. It is a bummer. They

Got my iPhone upgraded here and my MacBook pro repaired here with no games or gimmicks. They were also able to find replacement glass for a hard to find Motorola phone for my work at reasonable price - nobody else has been able to do so. Have been happy with their service and their turnaround time has always been reasonable.

Wonderful customer service. These guys will definitely work as hard as they can to fix any device taken in. Jason was super communicative, honest, but kind while explaining to me the severity of water damage to the 2020 Macbook pro I took in. It was in pretty bad shape and would't turn on, but within a couple days they fixed the damage completely. Extremely well priced, high quality repairs by honest and good people

So I went in to get a screen repair on my iPhone SE2 and they told me to wait an hour which I was in no rush so it was ok, later after I got home I started to notice that my touch screen wasn't functioning correctly, so I went back the next day hoping they could fix it, so I waited another half an hour and when I got my phone I had a KEYBOARD HOTSPOT which the employee kept mentioning that I doesn't affect my phone, which it's not okay because when I first brought my phone there it did not have that HOTSPOT on there, later after using it for a while my screen wasn't working

I have never been to a cell phone repair shop so I didn't know what to expect. But I came in here to have my screen repaired and I could not be happier. They offered fast and professional service at an excellent price. Care was taken to make sure my experience was good and my repairman went above and beyond to clean my phone and even put a new case in for me. I appreciate the prompt and knowledgeable service. Beware!!! They had an IPhone X 64 advertised on Craig's list for $400.00. I messaged them if it was still available without discussing the price. When I visited to check out the iPhone the sticker was marked $500.00. I informed him that his CL ad said $400.00. He looked in the computer and ran to the back to change the price, than like a wise a** asked me if I had proof of the $400.00 price. All he had to do was tell me they made a mistake on the listing. After that little trick, I would not have purchased from these crooks if they dropped the price in half. Buy BEWARE will buy from High

I decided to take my phone elsewhere for a second opinion because I am confident my phone was damaged by Hi TECH. Austin Cell Phone removed a piece of metal that was left between the screen and inside of phone by Hi Tech. This piece of metal was keeping the face of the phone from sitting correctly and was leading to the overheating and eventual crack that originated right where the metal was. They also had failed to replace a screw on the screen and it was loose in the phone. If they had opened it when I returned for help this would have been obvious.

I used Hi Tech to replace a cracked screen on my iPhone.
Make sure and have them thoroughly inspect and approve your phone BEFORE they do any work.
My new screen cracked on its own (no drops) less than 24 hours after it was replaced and they told me it was because of tension caused by a small dent on the side of my phone. $100 down the drain. Nice counter service otherwise.
