Mrs. J.B.R. was admitted to Chestnut Woods Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center from Mass General Hospital for continued skilled nursing and rehab needs with a diagnosis of Bronchopneumonia. Upon admission, she was evaluated by and participated with skilled physical, occupational and speech therapy.
Our physician-led program, under the direction of a pulmonologist, as well as our team of Respiratory Therapists are focused on helping patients achieve the most active life possible despite any cardiopulmonary diagnoses and physical limitations.
We tailor our program for individuals with heart disease and pulmonary disease, with diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, post heart and lung transplants, emphysema, acute myocardial infarctions and acute respiratory failure.

I recently called to gather information about your facility. A very nice lady, named Ann answered the phone and was very helpful and informative. We didn’t need a home for mom as she passed away so we didn’t see the facility. If the rest of the staff is a kind as your receptionist I definitely will keep Chestnut Woods as an option if that time comes. Thank you

Milan at Chestnut Woods was incredibly helpful. She is extremely knowledgeable about the Mass Health process and helped us to understand our part and what needed to be done. She also helped us with the billing and setting up automatic payments. She is so pleasant to work with. She made a difficult process of having to have long term healthcare for a loved one less stressful for my family.

This place should shut down. Aside from Anne who works the front desk. Every employee is unprofessional and ignorant. They nearly put my father in the grave. After spending 2 weeks there and seeing his quality of life deteriorating. I had him removed and brought somewhere else. It was like night and day. I would never recommend this facility to anyone!!!
