The products we use at Zinc Day Spa, Med Spa, Nails are natural and botanically-based, derived from plants, have no animal products or by-products, and have never been tested on animals. They are free from mineral oil which can be occlusive, and cause clogging of the pores, resulting in blackheads and whiteheads.
We thank our clients for their wonderful reviews. Yelp's automated system arbitrarily decides on which reviews to post and which to eliminate. A lot of online reviews are negative, and online sites give unhappy, negative people a platform to vent their frustrations. Lets face it, if you are happy with a business, you continue your patronage, but seldom make an effort to post a review.
We use Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid, as well as PCA (Physician Care Alliance) and other blended peels for our treatments. Minimize pore size, improve the appearance of fine lines, skin tone, blackheads, whiteheads. Treat acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, and age spots with our Professional Strength Peel/Basic Facial Combo.
We primarily use Nufree, anti-microbial, room temperature wax. It will not burn and is ultra hygienic! We also offer hard wax for the delicate bikini area and facial hair, as well as threading for facial hair. Our waxing prices are based on average surface areas. Excessive hair growth or larger surface areas may result in an additional charge.

I made an appointment to have Botox done. I was scheduled for 6pm, at 550 the woman , not quite sure of her name, ( I'm guessing Rashini based on her picture with the responses here, but I don't want to assume and blame an innocent person for this woman's behavior)? Came in a few months ago for “Botox”. Left with hard painful lumps under my skin where the injections were administered. I was a bit concerned but I decided to give it a few days, after seeing zero improvement in regards to my lines I called the salon amd was told I needed a touch up. Received Botox. Did absolutely nothing to change the appearance of my lines, all it did was leave me with big hard, painful lumps under the surface of my skin which I have never experienced before. Called to tell them my issue, they offered fifty percent off for a "touch up" after a few weeks saying that I probably just needed a few more units. Still after the touch up there was absolutely zero difference. I have been to other spas/derm offices and have never experienced such a thing as what I have experienced at this place. They are dishonest and scamming their clients. They did not use actual botox in my injections... In fact I have not idea what they used. After the injections, I was in pain for more than a week with a bulge and bruise on my forehead and my face is still moving the exact same way. I have had botox many times before and this is not what happens after a skilled professional administers botox. They are clearly ripping off their clients and highly endangering them.

Absolutley the worst place I've ever been for treatments of any kind ! The first time I went for a scheduled appointment I sat an hour before letting me know the doctor was unable to make it , second time I waited 45 min past my appt time. When I finally got seen , he was very kind but seemed to rush my Botox injections. He mentioned I may bruise . Ive never been told that . I felt pain for 14 days after injections. My lines are still present in areas ! I wish I could get a refund. This place should be closed down. Who knows what was injected into my face. Won't be back, never would

I had a Botox treatment and the doctor did not do the injection correctly. I have a lot of pain 5 days later and the eleven lines that should be smooth from the treatment are still present. There is not even a small change in them -- my lines look the same as when I entered the spa. I would definitely NOT recommend this place to get Botox.

So I'm review this establishment based off my wife's experience I haven't been but I am the one that paid for her spa day. When I picked her up she told me for about 45 minutes how fantastic it was. She said at first she was very skeptical because the reviews weren't that great and the place from the outside really doesn't look relaxing. Now that being said she said once ur inside it's a completely different story the place was relaxing and calming and clean. The massage therapist (Stephan) is a predator and was recently spotlighted on an episode of Have a Seat With Chris Hansen (former Dateline NBC reporter). He is a disgusting "man" who has done some awful things. I will be telling everyone NOT to visit this spa as long as Stephan works there. DISGUSTING!

I went to zinc for Botox on my "11s" area. The front staff was exceptionally welcoming and friendly and the spa was clean. The doctor at no point introduced himself and though I have had Botox several times I have NEVER bruised or been swollen after. I have a literal lump between my eyes (4 full days later) and a massive bruise longer than a finger tip. The administration of the injections was incredibly painful and I would never ever go there again or recommend this doctor to administer your Botox.

I see a lot of negative reviews from people who used a Groupon. Well I went for my first time today and I had a great experience. My masseuse was respectful and he made me feel comfortable. The woman at the front desk was very sweet as well. When they talked to me on the phone when I had scheduled they did remind me of tipping the normal amount you would not having the discount which I find nothing wrong with that because some people may not think of that and just helps people understand. Especially people who are not used to receiving such services.

Absolutely awful experience. I had to go back 3 times to try and fix my lips bc they wouldn't give me a refund. All times were painful and unpleasant. The Doctor had no idea what he was doing. I finally went to a specialist who was mortified and had to completely dissolve my lips. I went through so much unnecessary pain and they won't refund me. The dr never gave me after care instructions. I had to look them up. Don't waste your money on this careless business. Listen to all the bad reviews. Extremely unprofessional. I called to make an appointment as a first time client and was told that the doctor came in only on Thursdays and Saturdays. The woman booked me for Saturday at 12:00 but said that if they didn't get enough patients on that day they might have to cancel. This place made me extremely uncomfortable. Everything just seemed unprofessional. The receptionist was adamant about giving a tip, on the phone and when I actually got there. That should be up to me whether I liked the service or not. Literally said "okay so now all you owe is the gratuity before you leave." Which I had already given to my technician. Just unbelievably rude. Nobody seemed like they knew what they were doing.

I've been extremely reluctant to post a review as the doctor is quite nice.. but after going to another spa and and being thoroughly educated on Botox I feel like I just need to write something. I will start out by saying that I am positive this review is not going to be taken well by the owner and there will be a novel written back about it by her. That is why I am writing this anonymously. However the thing I do hope will ultimately happen is bring is better practices within the spa.

Simply awful. Calls us at 1130 to cancel a 1pm massage we booked the day earlier. They had us buy the Groupon just to make the appointment, then cancelled an hour an a half before our appointment the next day. Seems like a scam/shady, and we're extremely unwilling to help reschedule or get a refund (told us to call Groupon for a refund, they have no phone number...). Read other reviews of this company, not the first to have this happen too and many other complain of not getting their full massage time as well. Too many massage places around to give these crooks a chance.

Got a groupon that clearly states a 60 min massage not a 50 min massage with 10 min consultation. The room was too bright and couldn't hear the relaxation music because the AC was going. I will never go back. I can get groupons at other places that give me what they say it is for and for the full 60 minutes.

I got a pedicure with a gel manicure. It was my first time here. My first impression was positive. The chairs were comfortable and it was a very relaxing atmosphere. However, I made an appointment for my sister and I and the other nail technician wasn't there yet at the time of our appointment. We had to wait for 20 minutes for her to arrive to start our pedicures.
Also, my gel manicure chipped only 2 days later - see picture for chip on index finger. Gel manicures are supposed to last without chipping in 2 days. I'm not sure what happened but they didn't seem like they knew exactly

Originally went to this salon with a friend who was getting Botox. They were running over an hour behind so I decided to get a manicure. When asking if they had time for one, they asked one of the techs and it was clear she did not want to do it. I immediately said no worries, I didn't need to get it done but then she said it wasn't a problem she just needed a few minutes and would be right with me.
