Our Pilates studio serves the entire Central Florida area, including Maitland, Longwood, Windermere, College Park, Altamonte Springs and Lake Mary. Pilates is an exercise system designed to increase flexibility and strength for the body without building bulk. Pilates is a safe and stimulating workout for men and women of all ages. Its protective of the joints and all the exercises stay in the frame of the body. It will help the stiff to become flexible.

Private instruction is the ideal way of approaching the Pilates method. It involves the whole system of body conditioning created by Joseph Pilates. Our skilled instructors work alongside you and guide you through the exercises, making sure you are achieving precision of movement, so critical to achieving the greatest benefits.
Joseph Pilates developed an exercise system for Health & Longevity. He believed that good circulation and oxygenation of the blood was the key to good health. He once remarked: "blood should flow through the body like a river not a stagnant stream."

He created a system of 500 exercises utilizing spring resistant apparatus as well as exercises using your own body's resistance, He thought it more beneficial to not exhaust the muscle, but rather engage all the muscle groups in a wide variety of movements; doing only a few repetitions of each exercise.This approach leaves the body refreshed and energized at the end of a session rather than depleted.

All teachers are certified by Romana's Pilates, which is the most distinguished and rigorous program in the Pilates field.
At our studio we have the finest quality apparatus available in the industry from Gratz. The proportions are just as the original design that Joseph Pilates created. Most of the Pilates apparatus is spring resistant. Springs are wonderful to work with. They help to lengthen and strengthen the body and can be adjusted to best suit the individual.
I first want to thank you for your steady and meticulous instruction for the past 18 months A good friend often raved about the benefits she received from your instruction but I remained a little skeptical. I was wrong. Prior to Pilates, I often experienced lower back pain after a round of golf or a day working in the lawn.

For years my wife has been going to Mod Bod and has been urging me to take some classes.I considered myself "in shape" as I am in the gym consistently doing weights and cardio.I would always say to my beloved that Pilates was not a "real"workout.Boy, was I ever wrong.Pilates has been wonderful.My aches and pains have diminished greatly and my flexibility and core strength have increased dramatically.Do yourself a favor and give it a shot.Both the instructors Samantha and Jessica are extremely passionate and knowledgable about their profession.You will not be disappointed.

I have Rhuematoid Arthritis and most days just getting out of bed is a challenge. I started seeing Jessica 4 years ago to help me get moving. Wow is really all I can say!! She is so dedicated and passionate and really listened to me and my body. She had me whipped into shape in no time. She helped me get my life back!! I recommend her to any and everyone as she is a master at true pilates and a wonderful person overall.

I was honestly skeptical of trying pilates when my wife said she was going to make me go because I thought it was little more than glorified yoga which I think is just glorified stretching. I could not have been more wrong. The way Jess trains her clients is the way Joseph Pilates would teach it (he invented this stuff as a POW in WWII!) It really pushed my body in ways I didn't think it could be pushed. I played sports in high school, I was in the Marines, and I did regular "bootcamp" style workouts for years before coming to Mod Bod, and I can honestly say they were some of the most challenging
