I recommend Dr. Ames for your podiatry needs. There's easy check in on tablet. I suggest having any medications or allergies written down so you can have them uploaded by photo rather than manually entered. The nurse who takes you to exam room is thorough with her questions and pretty non nonsense. On my second visit she took me thru a series of x-rays, during which she loosened up. Dr. Ames has always been friendly and hasn't tried to push anything unnecessary on me. Thanks to the x-rays required for this visit, I learned new information about my feet, and was able to have a different, surprise

My visit with Dr. Ames was amazing from start to finish. After getting very little care at ARC, Dr. Ames fit me right in the very same day I called. The receptionist was super friendly and very helpful. The intake nurse listened to all of my concerns and never made me feel rushed. Dr. Ames was very thorough and very kind. I have definitely found a lifetime podiatrist.

Dr. Ames is super nice and does a great job. She has removed both the ingrown nails on my toes and I’m finally pain free. She makes you feel comfortable during the procedure and I feel she truly cares about her patients. Would recommend her to anyone looking for a great podiatrist in central Austin!

Last year, my PCP referred me to a podiatrist, however being an avid procrastinator, I waited until it was almost unbearable to walk so I finally made an appointment to see Dr Anne Ames, at the Austin location on West 38th Street, whose diagnosis was quite different from what I had previously thought. I had plantar warts and I do declare, my feet were on fire! After four treatments, my feet are back to normal and ready to do the jitterbug. My last two treatments were during the shelter-in-place so when I arrived for my appointment, the door was locked and before I was allowed to enter, I had to
