Decided to bring in my personal car for oil change and maintenance last week. We bring our work vehicles here as it's an approved State vendor and have always had quality service. They were able to squeeze me in midday and I picked up my vehicle the next morning. They sent a text message with a link to the results of the service and a recommendation of things to watch and things that should be addressed. What I loved was a picture of the thing that needed to be addressed, which was my air filter, which clearly was dirty based on the photo. They called me to discuss and get approval for anything

These guys are the best! Had a vehicle emergency and they were able to fix it within 24 hours (likely would have been faster but I didn’t get to the shop until 1pm!). Fair price, great communication, and an all-around trustworthy shop. Definitely #1 on my list for automobile issues.

I live right next door and the team is always happy to see my dog- when it was time for my 30,000 mile service, it was a clear choice. Dealerships tend to talk down to me because I’m a woman. Not at Ellis! They were so nice, and even let my dog say hi to them. My car is done perfectly, and for $60 cheaper than the dealership. I’ve found my forever mechanic.

I had a great experience at John Ellis & Son. I was in a fix, and they helped me get home (over 200 miles) without my car battery giving out on me. If I'd had the time to leave it overnight they would have identified the source of the drain too. They offer AAA membership rewards too, which helped lower the cost. You can't go wrong leaving your vehicle with them.

This garage does a great job. I picked them cause they are walking distance to my house, and seeing the positive reviews figured it was worth a try. Always a little nervous about going to a mechanic without a personal reference, but this worked out. I’ve been back three times now and they always explain everything and there have been no unpleasant surprises. Solid garage, good people.
