Cute little hole in the wall store. Not ideal for anyone with a shoe size smaller than a 6 because size 6 is the smallest I saw they carry. Not exactly budget friendly either. I wouldn't recommend if your on a budget.

So I’ve read quite a few reviews before I went to Gilvin’s. It was pretty much 50/50 on the reviews as far as overall customer experience. My experience was great. They didn’t have the boot I was looking for in particular, but they had my back up choice and I’m actually glad I went with this boot instead. They had an extensive selection of really great brands. They had top shelf to the apprentice making his way up affording what you can when you can, but still getting a good boot or good work shoe. The guy in the shop had to be the most rude and disrespectful man I had the pleasure of dealing with. As soon as i got in the store he was trying to rush me out...all he kept doing as I was looking is making sly remarks and commentary about my shoe size and not being able to accommodate me and looking down at me for where i work at...from now on I'll be ordering online or taking my business elsewhere he should not be in customer service and I will be telling everyone I know about the kind of service you get from this place.#disgusted

Drove 40 min to use a shoe voucher from work to get new steel toes. Have always shopped gilvins for last 15 years. Asked to use the restroom when i got there. Clerk said no, not for customers.
I say ill order online from Lehigh outfitters from now on.

Dude in the shop was rude for no reason. Said i needed a waterproof boot with a good tread and all i got was attitude. Walmart has better customer service. Will never go here again.

Very disappointing and disrespectful customer service.
I was seriously going to get a shoe here because I seen another FedEx employee who mentioned the great customer service I did not experience this perhaps I'm the wrong skin tone I don't know I digress. I don't work at a shoe store so I'm not knowledgeable about shoes I just know what feels good and what does not. I have some questions to narrow down my choices but belittling and condescending and maybe you're having a bad day Surfer goatee guy but after the fifth insult of belittling my knowledge of shoes I walked out and I won't be returning

Ordered boots a month ago. No boots yet. I've called 4 different times in the last week and have been told they would return my call but needed to check on an update. They have never called me back once. No boots yet but I'm sure they cashed in my work voucher for $300 the same day. Move on and save yourself some frustration.
