If I can give this store 0 stars I would. I had 4 tires replaced and installed from here recently for winter prep. They are good to find/source tires, but when it comes to installing tires, I would stay far away from this store. This store damaged my wheel stud two- three times separate times, and put on the wrong size nut each time. Which cause my 2021 car to shake while driving. I brought it to dealership twice within a month for the same problem. Push comes to shove, all fingers pointed at this store prior going to dealership to diagnose my tire shaking problems.

I have a Tesla Model 3 and have heard a lot of negative experiences with tire / auto body shops just not understanding how to lift these cars or work on them, but after a recommendation from another owner I decided to give Barnwell House of Tires a try. I called on a Friday morning (7:30am-ish) and spoke to TJ, the owner, who was very receptive to my asks for an annual safety inspection & tire rotation, explained there would be no issues with lifting my car and assured me they could take care of it and gave me accurate pricing (which other shops couldn't seem to do, even for something

I've been going here for years, usually better, maybe just an off day yesterday. I made an appointment for 1:00 for tires while I waited. Get there, and 1:00 is lunch break, and I'm told there's 2 customers ahead of me, so it will be a couple of hours! I have my wife pick me up and go about my day. I call at 3:00, and car is just about done. Pick the car up, price is fair, but mechanic left greasy hand prints all over the rims (bright polished silver). I get home, and get a call they forgot to put my wheel lock lug back in the car.

My adjustor guy from Tip Top Auto Body recommended Barnwell to me back in July of 2017 and said they were good + honest. I have been going to them ever since and had serviced 4 different cars here.
They are extremely honest, super nice and their competent mechanics always have my car completed in a timely matter as well as lend me a complimentary loaner car. I have gotten everything done here from oil changes to inspections, new alternator, brake rotors, new tires + repair, air filter, battery & TPMS sensor replacements and I'm also planning on having them swap my summer tires to winter

I have been servicing my cars at Barnwell for years. I have ALWAYS found them to be honest, extremely competent and customer friendly. I was in a bind last night with a flat tire in East Williston. We live in Williston Park and my husband was able to drive over to help me. Well, long story short, we had issues with getting the tire off. We went to the auto parts store in Mineola which did not have the part we needed to get the tire off. Located close by is Barnwell House of Tires, so we stopped in there to see if they had the part we needed. They did not but two wonderful mechanics, Tom and Eddie helped usfigure out a solution. It was close to closing time but Eddie offered to follow us to our car and helped us put on our spare

Barnwell has great service for just the right price. It took me a long time to find a place I can trust after many mishaps with other mechanics. Jeff and Mark are awesome, ask for them! My only suggestion is get there early because they're always backed up, and hang out at Dunkin Donuts (at the corner) or Panera (across the street) since it may be awhile to service your vehicle.

I have been going to Barnwell for years and they have always been my "goto" place for auto issues... They are reasonably priced and they have 100% of my trust. T.J., the owner is a gentleman and will explain anything that needs to be done to your car in a way that you'll understand.
I can't say enough good things about their staff. They are a great crew of people
